The house was clean and historically beautiful. We found the ability to walk to coffee and breakfast in the morning a great plus. The bathtub is a treat at the end of the day during the wet weather this time of year.
The house is really charming and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a good spot to check out all 6th Avenue has to offer this is the place! It's within walking distance of all the shops, bars and restaurants along 6th.
A really great little house, in a cool neighbourhood! Really quick walk to all the good restaurants & an easy drive to the freeway for Seattle. Close to the Mall. I couldn't recommend it more!
We loved our spacious and comfortable Harvey House. Easy parking situation, extra large kitchen and nice to have a washer and dryer. Being able to walk to 6th Avenue and a variety of restaurants and shops was a plus. We visited three restaurants and Legendary Doughnuts and never had a bad meal. Thanks for sharing your house with us.
Located just off 6th avenue, this is a nice little home that kept us comfortable for 10 days. The beds were comfortable and house was well kept. The shower was a bit tight for adults but served the purpose. There is no shower in the master bath which I didn’t pick up on initially when reading the listing.
Parking wasn’t an issue as there is space in the alley, but cars or people sometimes block the alley which can be annoying. Owner communicates well.
I would have liked a few more amenities for a 10 night stay (limited soap, hair products, laundry, and dishwasher detergent provided) so I ended up buying that for myself.
Overall, nice home and I’d stay there again if it fit my schedule.
It is a very small house, but it worked for the three of us. Great location for walking to bars, restaurants and some quirky shops, including the most amazing record store I have ever been in.
This home is amazing! There is fun history behind it, everything was gorgeously remodeled, and it's the perfect distance from some of the best 6th street has to offer.
The Harvey House was in a perfect location for our visit to Tacoma. We stayed in and cooked a birthday dinner and the kitchen had most everything you need to cook a nice meal! The beds and linens were great. The bathrooms were tiny with the one shower being small, but acceptable. The vanity in the non-shower bathroom was very tiny as well. It was walking distance to coffee and other fun restaurants . Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner, pasta carbonara, and the remodel they did is gorgeous. The feel of the place is cozy and makes you feel right at home. We love walking to the main street and shopping during the day, so many fun stores within just a few steps.
This small charming house had everything we needed for our 6-night stay. Very nicely furnished
and decorated. A short drive to groceries, drugstore, most restaurants, etc. If you're used to urban neighborhood settings, this will suit you well.
This is a charming older home. There are areas in the home that are a bit worn. I did buy candles during my stay as there was a musty odor that may be due to the house not being aired out regularly. All that being said, it was a great value and served my family well.
Could have been much better. No information about local area like restaurants and things to do, no backyard furniture to enjoy the fenced in area, Bedroom door won't close ( both of us in our 70's moving furniture isn't an option)
Aesthetically pleasing but not as functional as we'd hoped.
Overall, we had a good stay. Because we had booked for five days, though, and we were visiting with friends, we had hoped that the common areas were better designed for gathering and enjoying each other's company. Having one small couch and two chairs that are less for reclining and more for decor, made it difficult to visit with our friends comfortably in one room. The furniture (like the dining room table seats and the shower) was not very inclusive for larger bodies.
The house was in a great location and super close to so many things! The check in/check out process were both smooth and easy. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was extremely clean. Highly recommend if you're staying for a short weekend, as a singular couple, and/or for those in smaller bodies who don't need sturdier furniture/larger spaces.
My boyfriend and I spend a few days at this property celebrating his 50th birthday and enjoying Tacoma! It was centrally located to everything that we wanted to do and the property itself was perfect. It was clean, quiet and very very charming; exactly as presented on the Vrbo app. We would 100% recommend this property to others looking for a nice place to stay.

Nice property
The property was very clean and accessible. The only caveat is the very small size of bathrooms. The shower and bath tub were small for our family who are quite tall. Family members are tall at 6' 6" and 6'2" of both genders and it was difficult to use shower.
