The customer service here was terrible. I came in late, went to bed about 2 am, in the morning, I got a text saying “thank you for staying, please use this link to pick your check out time” 11am was the latest option, but there was a “late checkout option @ 1pm for an extra $25” and a “very late checkout option at 3pm for an extra $55”. I chose the 1 pm option to get some more rest, as I had gotten up for breakfast and wanted a couple more hours of sleep. I call the front desk to confirm about 10:45, and they tell me that is not an option and I need to check out by 11 for free, or at 12 for 25$. I go to the front desk to show them, the text I received from them, and those were options THEY offered. Why did they advertise that on their app when choosing checkout times, if it wasn’t an option. False advertising. The manager allows it, says I can stay til 1. I go back to my room and the housekeeper comes in and throws a fit that I’m not checked out. I try to explain to her the manager allowed it, but she goes on for 10 minutes about how that’s not ok. I was frustrated, tired and really stressed out at this point and just left then. This whole stay was stressful and I didn’t get the relaxing stay that I came for. The manager just apologized. I believe her name was Dorothy. I am Never staying at any Wyndham hotel again. Rude and disrespectful service. Don’t advertise and offer on your app what you can’t provide. Ridiculous. Debra the night shift front desk girl was amazing though.
