Walkable Harbor Escape Modern 2 Bedroom Getaway

  • Step inside to find an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space designed for gathering — hardwood floors, modern furnishings, a gas fireplace, and a 70" smart TV set the tone. French doors open onto a patio strung with lights, a gas fire pit, and a BBQ, with stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound. Soak in the private hot tub, or simply watch for the resident deer and bunnies.

    The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, a gas stove, and everything you need to cook a real meal.

    The primary suite is a destination in itself: a Serta California King adjustable bed, gas fireplace, 50" smart TV, and a spa bathroom with soaking tub, waterfall faucet, and adjustable lighting.
    The second bedroom offers a queen bed, 50" smart TV, and peekaboo views of Mt. Rainier and the Sound. An air mattress with bedding is available for extra guests. The second bathroom features a wall-to-wall walk-in glass shower with a waterfall showerhead.

    Central AC keeps summers comfortable, and the home is completely allergy-free — no pets, ever. Downtown Gig Harbor is a short walk away, with waterfront parks, local dining, and boutique shopping all within easy reach.

I highly recommend this home. Marcia responded immediately to all requests. The home is just lovely - so cozy, clean and the kitchen is very stocked and great to cook in. The beds are very comfortable. The location is wonderful as you can walk to the harbor and town. The back porch is perfect for relaxing and has a great view off to the side, where you can see a bit of the harbor and the pretty lights at night. A wonderful 10 star home.

Amazing Home!

Loved this house! Went for a mother/daughters weekend and just can’t say enough about this beautiful place. Everything was sparkling clean, accommodations were very comfortable, great location - easy access to everything. The kitchen was fabulous to cook in and a great gathering area too. The home was better equipped than any we have stayed in - ever. Extraordinarily clean and well stocked. The owner was “johnny on the Spot” available. We rented the home for family from Denmark and they were so happy with this choice.

Gig Harbor getaway!

What a wonderful property! The location is perfect--about a five minute walk to the harbor--and the house is absolutely charming. It's immaculate, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. Great Getaway

This beautiful home is a gem in Gig Harbor. It is impeccably decorated, extremely well equipped and conveniently located to downtown Gig Harbor, which is a gem itself. This home exceeded our expectations and Marcia was very easy to work with. We highly recommend this property, especially if you need two bedrooms and baths. The large gourmet kitchen is an added bonus.

Great House!

The house was exactly as advertised. It was super clean and was one of the best equipped VRBO houses we ever stayed in. Close to downtown Gig Harbor so the location was great for walking along the harbor. Marcia was a super host and when the BBQ needed propane, she had a guy there in just a few minutes who got it up and running. Thanks Marcia for a great stay!

Immaculate and beautifully decorated home in the heart of Gig Harbor. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for when we felt like cooking in. Marcia thought of every detail .. and more! She was also very responsive to any questions I had about our stay. We relaxed by the gas fireplace in the main living area almost every night with our family..Very spacious and cozy! The giant tub and spa like bathroom in the master bedroom was glorious. We all fought over who was going to have that room. What we also liked was that the home was located so close to everything. We were able to walk to the harbor shops and most restaurants. You have got to try Brix 25 Restaurant for dinner and The Devoted Kiss Cafe (which had the most enormous and delicious biscuits I've ever had) Lots of cute gift shops along the harbor too.. my personal favorite is the Harbor Nest Gift Shop. All in all a wonderful stay. Can't wait to go back this upcoming summer!

I rented Marcia’s house as a gift of appreciation for some friends. What a magnificent house! The kind we dreamt of in boarding school: light, airy, tons of windows, a view, high ceilings, a large kitchen equipped with EVERYTHING, luxurious furniture, cozy bedrooms, elegant bathrooms, a hot tub, snacks, privacy, quiet … convenient to downtown Gig Harbor … Marcia’s retreat is really perfection and we would love to stay again someday. Great property on one of the main streets just a couple blocks above the water. Nicely redone not too long ago. Kitchen and dining room are very open and well stocked. I don’t have one complaint!

Beautiful home

The house was just like the photos shown: clean, well-stocked, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The location was fantastic: an easy to walk to the harbor and several near-by restaurants and you even had some views of the water. We chose to stay in and cook a couple of nights because the house was well-appointed and stocked with everything you need so it made it easy and felt like home! Communication with Marcia was also very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again if and when we visit in the future.
