"The cabin wasnt very clean. There were rats in the ceiling (i heard them every single night) and rat droppings in all the cabinets in the kitchen. I guess you cant expect much from a cabin in the woods. There were people hunting on the property(back yard) that parked in the driveway, dirty socks left on the front porch. The entire place reaked of moth balls and EVERYTHING we brought in left smelling of moth balls. I couldnt cook due to the gross state of the kitchen which we had bought groceries prior to checking the cleanliness so thats on us. Hardly warm water to shower with and the washer leaked when we tried to wash clothes. We only stayed the entirety of the trip because we didnt have the money to cover a hotel or another vrbo. It was better than nothing but not worth the money spent. Has so much potential if the owner would hire professional cleaning and pest control companies. Gorgeous land to explore as long as the people that were hunting werent out there. "

"The home was very nice, clean and cool. We were met with cold air when we first opened the door, that was incredibly welcoming on a hot Florida day. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of closet room and cabinet space. The books and games available were a bonus. The screened in porch was so nice to use in the morning and evening.The host was easy to contact and very good to work with. The dock was nice, had plenty of seating and provided some nice shade. He has a pontoon boat available to rent daily, which is really convenient if you wanted to go out on the water. The area was very safe and we felt comfortable walking around. Many people have golf carts and all would wave. The neighbors on both sides are very friendly and kind. There were some cons. There were mouse droppings in a cabinet in the master bathroom and the oven drawer in the kitchen. Both washing machines had mold/ mildew in them. There were a lot of light bulbs that were burnt out. Luckily we found a big box of them and were able to replace them without having to go buy a bunch. The dock could use some work as some boards are very squishy. The host was there most days for a majority of the day doing yard work. I appreciate his hard work, but would have liked some sort of notification as we didn't feel we had the privacy we would usually get at a rental home. Overall, the pros far outweighed the cons and we would definitely stay here again. "

"This is a great place to stay. The host was very easy to communicate with as I had several questions before our trip regarding space to park boats, trucks, and trailers, as well as different amenities. This place is loaded with all the amenities from pots to use for low country boil, keurig coffee maker, coffee pods stocked up, a gas grill, fire pit, air fryer, and many other kitchen amenities. There was also a complimentary smores package left for us to use. The beds were comfortable as well, which seems to be a rare thing in short term rentals. We were able to park four trucks and boat trailers in the driveway and put four boats at the dock area. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to stay here again should we find ourselves fishing this area again. "
