This listing was in a great location, very safe to walk our dog in, it was close to plenty of restaurants and shops, but Sue the host was kind enough to provide some beverages for us which was a life saver once we got our stuff inside! The interior is stunning and very comfortable to stay in. Beautifully decorated. Lots of great amenities. Many toiletries, plush towels, snacks on the counter, and drinks the fridge. The outside could use some attention. The back yard was not exactly as pet friendly as advertised. There were many piles of dog left behind from previous renters. I have never experienced this before. There is a lot of clutter piled up in the yard that looks like it is something that used to be something a child could play on/ with. I am not sure if it is still in safe conditions to be used. While the yard is partially fenced in, it is not fully fenced in. The neighbors on both sides have dogs that ran the fence line and barked at us/ our dog. (Not sure if they live there or if they were weekend rental guests as well.) The check in process became a bit stressful. I was asked to move to the upstairs unit due to cleaning staff calling out. I was told I could access it early and it would be available anytime. Then told the host might be be back in town early enough to let me in. I never asked for early check in regardless. Just simply gave them time I would be arriving, but more than willing to wait for check in time. Was then sent multiple text though out the evening asking how things were going and if we needed anything.
