Helpful staff and beautiful grounds

Great location,very friendly and helpful staff, safe gated parking and comfy,clean bed and linens.

Greg the night desk staff is amazing. I arrived from airport and was in car accident and got in late and had to extend stay. He went above and beyond to change my room so I could sleep in late and not have to change rooms. I also had an incident leaving 4 am Saturday and thought I left wallet in room. He went to room searched and even was going to have pilots on way to airport bring it to me. Way above and beyond. Always remembered me by name. Hotel was super clean and room spacious and bed incredibly comfortable. Convenient location with happening bar but yet super quiet up in hallways and rooms. Excellent would stay again.

I stay in Ann Arbor because it is convenient to my children's college. But I stay at Kennington because they have the BEST SIZE AND WARMTH OF AN INSIDE POOL YEAR ROUND!! I swim when I travel and love to do laps any time of the day. They open the pool at 530 am and close it at 1100 for adults. I have traveled all over and it is the BEST POOL!! When I am done doing laps, I go into the hot tub which is not that hot (I hate when they are so hot you can't relax.) and read, along with my (non-glass beverage) best time of traveling sometimes:):) It is super clean (which I am a crazy person about) with no pets on the top floors which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Nice accommodations with cool vibe and large spacious rooms. Great workout area. Convenient to area restaurants. Downtown Detroit location had multiple people loitering outside entry doors at all hours. Not recommended to walk around at night as there were three crime notifications around 2am on a Saturday.
