    The Space:

    Timebridge Lodge is a modern log home that is situated on five acres within a private, 120-acre neighborhood just outside the town of Sylva. Personal touches like rocking chairs, a front porch swing and a wood-burning fireplace help make this a special retreat. The home has an open floor plan with a great room, kitchen, dining, and master bedroom all on the main level. The views from the back porch views will take your breath away; the fire pit and hot tub will allow you to soak up the mountain air. What’s nearby: 30 minutes from Cashiers and Franklin, and 45 minutes from Asheville and Highlands. Hiking, rafting, fishing, and water and snow skiing are just minutes away. Sylva's Historic Main Street, the Dillsboro shopping district, and The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad are just ten minutes from the lodge. Things to know: No commercial vehicles or very large trucks are allowed to park at the property. Do not book this place. Find somewhere else to stay. Vacasa/VRBO was unresponsive the entire stay. Cabin was advertised with hot tub. Owners and VRBO knew it was not working. We arrived and water level was halfway full, and it was cold and full of leaves. Left four messages over the course of three days with VRBO and never got a call back. When I finally was able to reach somebody, they told me the hot tub had been broken for months and they knew this was the case and forgot to update the listing. They then said they would give me a credit for this, then never responded and charge my card in full. The only reason we booked this place was because of the hot tub. The management responsiveness was unacceptable. It’s been three weeks and I’ve heard nothing from vrbo/vacasa.

Perfect for Our Family Mountain Getaway

It was wonderful to stay in a home that actually had enough beds and seating (in both the living room and kitchen/dining areas) for all 11 family members. The home is spacious with a fabulous mountain view, especially from the back of the house, had plenty of area in the front for our three vehicles and playing outdoor games, and yard swings on both the front porch and backyard. We enjoyed making s'mores around the outdoor fire pit (also with ample seating), a cozy fire in the fireplace, and soaking in the hot tub as well. There was plenty of room in the kitchen for us to cook together (which we love!), as well as a fair selection of cookware and sufficient dishware, silverware, mugs and drinking glasses. Board and card games were played every evening gathered around the dining table; the pool table downstairs was also used daily. We would not hesitate to stay at Timberidge Lodge again!

What an inviting home! So big and spacious for our entire family. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with needed items, the towels were beyond soft, and the beds comfy. We had a slight issue with the dishwasher and someone was onsite in under 20 minutes to remedy the problem. If you want seclusion with a breathtaking view, this is the pace to be! My only complaint would be that 10 numbers for a security code is excessive (LOL) We will definitely be back and encourage anyone planning a mountain trip with a big family to book now.

Great cabin all around: Clean, roomy, quiet and secluded. Kitchen is well stocked. Look forward to staying here again. Super minor issue: felt was torn on the pool table. Might have happened recently but we were a little bummed not to be able to play.

Best Cabin Yet

We have stayed in close to 25 cabins through the years. This was our favorite. It had everything we wanted...hot tub, huge space to hang out. Pool table, wood burning fireplace and outdoor firepit, mountain views, space to play games, huge kitchen, rockers and a swing for coffee with a mountain view. Check in and check out were a breeze.We had to drive a bit to find our favorite hikes(we are avid hikers), but it was close to the BRP so the drives were a part of the experience. Highly recommend. We will return!

7 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 babies....this place easily accommodated all of us. The rooms were big, modern, and quiet. The setting is one of the best we've seen in all our travels with privacy, mountain views, a huge deck with a grill and hot tub, a basement with a fabulous pool table, and a large fire pit in the front yard. We were there for 6 nights and cooked there for 5 of them...easily. What a great place to land after a day hiking, biking, waterfall hunting, tubing, and/or shopping.
