The perfect place to stay for history/antique fans such as myself, there was so much cool antique furniture and old pictures from when the house was first built. The drive up is a little precarious but overall not too bad and the signage made it a lot easier to find! I took my partner here for their birthday and had such a great time exploring downtown Sylva and then coming home at night to a peaceful quiet cabin in the midst of the beautiful mountain forests. I loved the antique decor. The mismatched eclectic feeling. You could feel the history in the walls. The road up is extremely narrow, but pretty smooth. Great experience We loved the area and how secluded in the mountains it was. Things were updated such as TV, Fridge, Stove. Etc. our only complain would definitely be the beds in the home. They are very uncomfortable and need to be swapped. Just really cheap feeling mattress. If your a super firm springing bed type of people it will be perfect but had trouble sleeping with stiff body on these beds. Could also provide updated cooking supplies blender mixers etc. we love to cook and grill and didn’t have the things to have that were expected to be in a place like this.
