(5,618 reviews) Great location and great view of Gothenburg. Gothia Towers is an amazing hotel experience. Almost everything you need is in the hotel. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is really clean. It may be a little pricey for some, but the experience is worth it. The hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing attractions, museums, shopping and it's about 20 minutes from the airport. Access to Public transportation hub is 5 minutes walk from the Towers and the major Mall is15 minutes by tram from the Towers. Liseberg Amusement Park is across from the hotel. You have to visit Universeum (less than 10 minutes walk from the Towers) to especially see you the 3D shows. (1,001 reviews) We definitely book this for the novelty value of staying on a beautiful old ship. Check in was an effort. No one was around to answer the door. It was 20minutes before we got in and only because other guests came back. Even though the portholes were closed the rain leaked through alot and some of our stuff got a bit damp. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was tasty and it was a fun stay. The ship needs some TLC and maintenance.
