Especially for July 4th weekend - if you like fireworks & music. The resort across the water gave a spectacular show the Sunday before the fourth. Sat & Sunday were loud, but fun. After the weekend it was very quiet & lovely. The place was good. The sleeper sofa needs improvment or, a very nice topper. The manager was helpful. Everything was handled very Professionally. The only drawback that we had was that the water in the pond was a bit muddy. Rowboat, Canoe and Kayak were all available for our use. We would have loved to use the Pontoon and would have gladly paid extra for it. Wonderful South Shore Pub and Grub right across the street made it even better. Darcy was quick on the ball to answer all our questions. One of our Pups went into heat the night before we left which made clean up a bit of a challenge and was our fault. ##### Frank P. We brought our own kayaks. Its a very nice lake for kayaking a little weedy, but we liked the little islands and ther is a sand bar you can swim at off the island to the right of thr cottage. Our only complaint was in the notes left by the owner is we were to take a garbage along. I texted Darcy and he said it was ok to leave and they would take care of it. Thank goodness.
