"The furniture in the living room was so worn and the cushions were all smashed down like years of use. Uncomfortable to sit on. Walls were all scuffed up and I think because of these things it just didn’t feel clean. One of the beds didn’t have a top sheet so we had to re-make the bed as soon as we got in so that was inconvenient. The cost was right and the elevator was nice and convenient… but the condo looked nothing like the picture. "

"What a wonderful time I had staying at the Mermaid Rest Motel. Booking was very easy and straight forward. I was not expecting such a nice room. Very large and extremely clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. There was plenty of lighting and best of all everything worked. I loved the mini-split Heat Pump. Nice and quiet unlike those thru the wall PTAC's. Definitely a 5-star A experience!"

"Very clean. Spacious room. Nice sitting area, rental chairs, and decent pool. Friendly staff. A washer and dryer for guests with washing pods - all free. Only downside is no ironing board or iron. But how often are you going to need those at the beach? Highly recommend this place."
