We did not get a water view which was sad, but could see it from the streed and the restaurant across from the hotel which had a deck and great food. There was no pool. Disappointed about that.

It was very hands off-- you go, retrieve your key from the lock box and let yourself in. But it is a gorgeous old building built like a fancy plantation - castle, in the middle of a small coastal town in pristine Maine, with a pool and a fitness center. I didn't realize it at first, but my room had a hallway to another living room area, with a balcony to sit and watch the sunrise from. Wow! Yeah, it's a great place.

Delightful, historical inn right next to Clark Island Preserve. Lovely wee walks on the shore and to the old quarry. Minimal light pollution at night allows for terrific stargazing. Rooms are on the small side, but thoughtfully designed. Included breakfast was delicious, with fresh made biscuits and a nice selection of offerings. Only slight negative is the slow WiFi, but maybe it's okay to take a break from streaming and read a book!

This property includes an incredible view and was sparkling clean. However it is NOT convenient to the main Acadia National Park attractions. It is over 1 hour to 1.5 hours away from sites like Sand Beach, Jordan Pond and other popular attractions , a solid hour away from Bar Harbor. We had two rooms that perfectly fit our large family however the amenities were inconsistent that one room had AC and one did not, one had a mini fridge and one did not. There also is not a staff member present at all times, just a 24 hour number to text. Overall the property is clean and basic and the Bluff view is gorgeous just maybe would have clarified some details beyond just trusting their website .

"Stayed for lobsterfest which was conveniently right next door. Plenty of delicious local foods/restaurants/bars. Right by the docks where you can sail the Morning in Maine sunrise/sunset tour. Also very close to Owls Head for lighthouse about 10 min drive and a sandy beach for swimming about 10 min ..."
