Sunlight Mountain Resort

We have been going to Beaver Run for over thirty years, and it still remains one of our all time favorite places. The people are always kind and the accommodations are always updated and clean. Being at the base of the mountain gives direct access to hiking/skiing and town is a quick walk or shuttle ride away. Beaver Run is built for families. It has an inside/outside swimming pool with plenty of room to bask in the sun or retreat in the shade. There is always a hot tub available after a game of tennis or a trip to the mini golf game room with the kids. Spencer's has a great breakfast, and we really enjoyed BBQ on the patio this time! The market has all the provisions that you need - but a word to the wise - bring your own sunscreen or you will be paying double-top dollar for it there! We have so many great memories at this place, and even though our kids are grown now, it is still the most comfortable, peaceful place for us to stay in Breckenridge.

We had a wonderful stay! Every staff member we interacted with was delightful. Such great service! The hotel is so clean and beautifully designed. Our room was comfortable and laid out thoughtfully. There is a little sound coming from the interstate if you are on that far side of the hotel at night, but it wasn’t disruptive. The hot tub and pools are awesome! We really appreciated that the pools open early and stay open late. We would love to stay again.
