The Space: Greenhood Cottage is a delightful beach home that comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests + pets. The residence has a large, bright kitchen with full-size appliances and convenient bar seating that seamlessly transitions to the dining and living areas. Guests will love the dining room’s wrap-around windows designed to take full advantage of the breathtaking ocean views, and quick escape to the beach through the sliding glass doors. A wood-burning fireplace in the living room provides the perfect spot to warm up on days when the ocean water is a bit chilly. The home’s 2 bedrooms are perfectly set up for families, with a king in the master (which has a partial ocean view) and a twin-over-full bunk in the 2nd room. A large 4-piece bath has plenty of space to accommodate all after a day in the water with a glass shower cabin, soaking tub and extra hooks for beach towels. There is also a nice-sized laundry room with a washer, dryer, sink, and direct access to the patio for easy cleanup. Greenhood Cottage is all about outdoor living with wonderful options all around to enjoy the fresh sea air. The property’s beautifully landscaped front yard is the ideal place to relax and soak up some rays when not at the nearby beach. Picture windows for the ocean, very short walk to a rugged beach and easy drive to anywhere on the island, with good pizza and coffee caravan just down the road. A beautiful cozy cottage with everything you could need for a weekend getaway! Exactly as described and in the photos. Such a special place to visit, and that view from the front window is spectacular. You can even see a bit of it from the back deck! Comfortable, well secured for our furry family members, and ample parking for two cars. The short walk to surf beach and down to the rocks, and only a short drive to Smiths Beach, Cowes and San Remo makes it the perfect location!
