The cabin was exactly as described. The hot tub was clean and working perfectly. The serenity of this place is unmatched. The property was clean, and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked, and made it possible for my partner to prepare me a full chicken. It was absolutely amazing.
The property is everything advertised and more.
The support and care from staff to insure safe arrival was so useful due to road construction near the property.
Wyatt and the team at Stewart Mountain are incredibly attentive. Great way to stay 'off-resort' with the same level of service while maintaining a level of distance and "lost in the woods" feeling while still easily accessible. 100% will book with Stewart Mountain team on our next trip to the Wasatch range.
My husband (and our 2 dogs) stayed for a couple of nights. Perfect location for hikes (the leaves were changing color) and we had snowfall on the surrounding mountains. The house is beautiful, comfortable and supplied with everything you need for preparing meals and relaxing in the hot tub! Highly recommend!
This property is managed by a family-owned property manager who gives it many great personal touches, including guides for the local area, tips for where to get what you need from the stores, and easy access to otherwise tricky-to-find hiking trails. Don't overlook the management's private park with zipline and swing. We spent hours there relaxing by the water with a fire without anyone else around.
Had great stay over Labor Day weekend. Beautiful property that was perfect for us and our 3 kids! Everything was ready for us when we arrived. Vicky and her management team are awesome! We hiked to Stewart Falls from Sundance and somehow ended up in Aspen Grove with no easy way to get back to the base other than walking 3 miles along a sketchy road. One phone call to Vicki and 15 min later we were picked up by Mike, the CFO of Stewart Mountain Lodging, who took us back to where we had parked our car. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Highly recommend!
We had a great weekend! Even decided to stay an extra night. The property was amazing. Location was peaceful and so beautiful. it was relaxing and just what we needed. The cabin was clean, very cozy, and had everything we needed.
The home is overall a good stay! Nice linens, which is big for me. My only complaint is the bunk room is very cold during the winter. Even with a fire going and heat on.
Cozy, rustic chic, mountain top family cabin in the middle of the forrest. We loved our stay and felt very much at home. It's an old restored cabin with lots pf windows, and a lot of modern updates. We spent a lot of time in the Sun room with all of the windows open enjoying the mountain breeze, tree lined mountain view and birds chirping. We sipped tea outside and soaked up the sun every morning on the two rocking chairs. The beds are comfortable, my hubby and I slept comfortably on the queen master bed. The room is small (for big men). There are three levels with 3 beautifully updated bathrooms, and our family of 5 and dog were very comfortable with plenty of seating a cozy areas for everyone to do their own thing. The cabin is well stocked with very cute kitchen accessories for tea and coffee. A 4WD or AWD drive is an absolute must!!! My sister in law and husband came to visit in their sequoia and got stuck coming down the driveway and had to have a local tow truck company come and pull them out of the turn. The tow truck guy was familiar with the cabin. If you have a 4WD or AWD you will have no problems at all. Just be prepared for gravel windy steep roads with no GPS service, so use your instructions that the host provides. That being said, it is well worth it! The walls are thin, so we could hear each other from all around the cabin in separate rooms. No dressers provided, so use cubes or hang everything. Loved it and would return. Thank you Mountain Mama!
