This wonderful getaway is near both Dollar Mountain and Bald Mountain, features a gorgeous full kitchen, and comes with access to community amenities like year-round pools. Cozy up by the fireplace with a book, or watch cable or a DVD. If you're feeling peckish, head into the gourmet-style kitchen and indulge yourself by cooking something elaborate while you listen to music on the stereo. With beautiful wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances, the kitchen is the perfect playground for your group's chef. With a coffeemaker and dishwasher, you'll be energized and done with cleanup in no time! Please note, the loft is on the third floor up a spiral staircase off of the second bedroom and features a queen bed and a twin bed. This room is interconnected and you must walk through the bedroom to exit/enter the upper loft sleeping room. A large deck provides a lovely spot for barbecues and to enjoy food on nice days. Relax outside with the wind in the trees and watch the kids play. What's nearby: Making it to the slopes is easy from this unit! Dollar Mountain, which mainly caters to beginners, is within walking distance, and there's a free bus that will take you to Bald Mountain, where more advanced skiers will find plenty to challenge them. Skiing isn't all that this area is known for, though! Plenty of people come for the wonderful fly fishing, hikes, or rafting. There's plenty to do in town, as well. Take a lesson in ice skating year-round at the Sun Valley Skating Center, then attend one of their ice shows! Bundle up and go for a sleigh ride in the hills. The local food is excellent - check out Konditorei for hot chocolates and pastries that are out of this world, or have a nice dinner at Averell's and enjoy the best view for miles around. The description was a little misleading because it didn't mention that the room with the queen bed and twin bed is in a loft attached to the room with the two twin beds - so you have to go through one room to get to the other. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. The property worked great for our family. My only frustration came from the pool passes for the Sun Valley Resort. We could have easily chosen a property that had an onsite pool, but we decided to try this property because of the pool access at the Sun Valley Resort. There were no pool passes waiting for us when we got to the condo on Saturday. We reached out to Vacasa to find out where they were. It wasn't until Tuesday morning that someone finally came and dropped off the passes. I'm happy that started working immediately to get it figured out and get the passes but was disappointed that they were not there in the first place and that I had to reach out to them to make sure we got them. ##### Spencer D. Quick access to the SV pool, tennis courts, or paddle boats on the lake. We didn't experience any loud neighbors and the deck area is shaded for spending time outside (especially in the mornings or after it cools off a bit in the evening). Plenty of space for the four of us to spread out (even with two teenagers) and still hangout as a family in the evenings. Kitchen is stocked and ready for use if you want to have meals in. Unit was clean, plenty of bathrooms, and stays cool throughout the day even in late July. Would stay here again and bring a roku stick or some DVDs, even though there's cable TV available. ##### Matthew T. There is no place to put ski boots and barely any hooks. The kitchen is very small and the eating area/living space is very tight. The pictures make it look a lot bigger. Aside from that, the railing was broken, many light bulbs were out, and there were dirty sheets in the wash. Vacasa responded well to our feedback. My kiddos loved the loft on the top level. Loved that every one had a bed and there were 3 bathrooms to share. It was close to skiing. We loved having three bathrooms. The location is perfect. We hope to stay there again soon. My only disappointment was with Vacasa. After I booked the condo/home, I expected an email giving me information on the details of our stay, particularly how we check-in. ( I use the VRBO website all the time, so I know how things should work.) I didn’t know if we went to an office or if there would be some kind of code on the door. I called their office number several times and no one ever answered. I was worried that maybe we hadn’t reserved the condo after all. On the day we were checking in, I finally got an email about 11 am. I would’ve been fine getting an email this late, but it would have been nice to know that it was coming. ##### Jill E. Location is perfect, nice walk up to all the resort amenities, and also right by the bus stop into town. Layout was wonderful for our family of five- the kids all wanted to sleep upstairs in the loft together. Each room has a nice set of drawers and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also loved grilling and eating out on the deck. Also appreciated the sense of community within dollar meadows- our kids bikes and played outside and met lots of other children. The home was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful area of Sun Valley. We found it slightly misleading that the pool was offsite and at the resort. It’s an amazing pool but you had to get your car to drive to it which made it extra challenging with little kids. We also experiencing very loud neighbors late into the night which was very unpleasant. Otherwise the home and the stay was nice. ##### Emily P.
