The living area has good light with windows all around. There is a 52-inch flat-screen TV with cable and streaming and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There are two bar stools at the countertop. The dining table seats 6 and there is access to a small deck with two chairs and a small table. There is no elevator in the building to get to the second floor where the condo is located. The bedroom can either be a King or two twins. There is a 32-inch flat-screen TV and complex views. The bathroom has a single vanity sink and tub/shower combo. There is a stacked washer and dryer in a closet near the entrance. Complex Features: The Cottonwood Condominiums are located on Dollar Road just across from the Sun Valley Village. The Sun Valley Pavilion is about two blocks away. This is the best location for convenient access to indoor and outdoor ice-skating rinks, shops, and meeting facilities. The location is known for its privacy and tranquility, featuring a blend of comfort, warmth, and scenery. Landscaping includes ponds and streams on the grounds. Bald Mountain ski lifts are 1.5 miles away and Dollar Mountain ski lifts are 0.5 miles away. Both ski lifts and downtown Ketchum are easily reachable by the Mountain Rides shuttle that stops at the entrance to the Cottonwoods. In the summer the bike path provides miles of scenic biking or walking enjoyment. Sun Valley Resort Amenities are not included with this property. There is no pool access. Please Note: No pets allowed. This unit is professionally managed, and all check-ins are at the Alpine Lodging Office, conveniently located on South Main Street in Ketchum. We had the building to ourselves so it was very quiet. Overall, the condo matched the descriptions. There's been some updates on furniture from the pictures but everything is in good condition. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens with all the utensils and cooking equipment you could need. The dishes were all from Anthropologie, very nice for a rental until. It was nice to have for a few meals when we didn't want to eat out. Check in went smoothly and we were even able to check in a little early when we got to town. Location wise, it's close to the resort, downtown Ketchum, and there are lots of outdoor adventures within a few minutes. ##### Emerald S. Didn’t notice until first morning when ready to shower. Had to call twice to remind maintenance man to come and fix. Was fixed that night. Living room tv would not connect to local channels. Called maintenance and it was never fixed during our stay. There was no remote in bedroom so couldn’t watch the tv either. Property manager reply was sometimes there are issues. The plumbing in the wall between kitchen and living room needs to be insulated. You can hear water rushing through the pipes when upstairs tenants flushed or took showers. ##### Daniel D. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself was nice and in a nice location. It was in Sun Valley, close to Ketchum, and other experiences. The property was very serene and calming.After-hours service was a different story. We called ahead to plan our check-in around 10pm at night due to the drive. The keys were there and everything appeared to be on track. However the keys did not work. When I called the after hours number, I was treated with disrespect as if I had interrupted their evening.I asked if we had possibly been given the wrong keys and aggressively the woman responded, "I don't know what to do for you. They are the right keys, I double-checked them myself. There are several entrances, so make sure you have the right one." I told them that we followed directions to the second floor, but we would try the keys several more times. After fighting with the door and wandering around the property for another 30 minutes, we called the after-hours number again. "Those are the right keys!" she said again. Annoyed, she responded, "I'll call the maintenance man and see if he can help you get in." Before I could say thank you, she hung up on me. The maintenance person was very nice and informed us that we were given the wrong keys. He was accommodating and professional while apologizing for the mishap. At checkout, there was a very sweet lady who was also accommodating.Overall, I would stay there again only if I was 100% sure that I didn't need after-hours support. I will probably find an air BnB in the future. ##### Lance D.
