Honestly, just needed somewhere to stay that was pet friendly for the night. Shelly was very nice and easy to work with during check in. We had a quiet room on the second floor. We skipped breakfast because we needed to hit the road but it looked good. I did grab a cup of coffee which was good. Wendy was nice at check out. Overall, pleasant stay for the night.

I stayed here for one night. The property and cleanliness of the room were fine. The hotel was also in a great location close to the highway. However, the main reason I chose this hotel was because it had a hot tub. When I arrived I was told the hot tub was not working and they are waiting to get it fixed. The next morning when I went to get breakfast the breakfast attendant was very rude because I arrived 5 minutes before they were shutting it down. If you plan on getting breakfast make sure you get there before 9. I was told the previous day that breakfast was served until 10 so I had no idea it was almost over. The attendant was very snippy and mad that I wanted breakfast when she was trying to clean up. She definitely needs some training on how to work with the public. The breakfast was bottom of the barrel and I ended up going somewhere else.

The drapes were stationary and could therefore not be closed to prevent the parking lot lights from streaming in all night. While the location is convenient the road noise is very loud. Again, insulated drapes that can be closed would have made a significant difference.

We had a lovely room on the 4th floor; so it was quiet above. The layout of the room gave us plenty of space, yet felt cozy for two. The bathroom was spacious. The area outside the hotel needs to be paved, as potholes were plentiful!

Terrible place to stay, The hall carpets were dirty, and we weren't even on a pet-allowed floor. Adjacent road noise was extremely loud. AC unit even louder, sounding like an aircraft taking off when it came on. No adjustment available to a lower fan setting to reduce noise. Shower ran/dripped water all night as it could not be completely turned off. The pool was closed for maintenance but that fact was not disclosed when our booking made. So much for expecting a nice swim after a long day on the road! Staff generally surly but the breakfast lady was nice and the breakfast was excellent. Never again La Quinta Summersville!

This property is not well kept. Dirty and area around is full of weeds. No place to walk a dog unless it is half mountain goat. Pool was out of commision but staff didnt know when it would be repaired. Didn't have breakfast.

The hotel was great. The only thing I would improve is the hotel side facing highway 19 needs better windows so the traffic noise isn't so noticeable.

This has been our go to stay for our annual Toronto to Florida road trip for years. The hotel is looking a little more worn down than when we first stayed 10 years ago, but it’s still a reliable comfortable hotel.

Check in was a breeze. Very polite and helpful staff. The breakfast was typical ie same as all places serve. The Mexican restaurant in the plaza where the hotel is located rates ten out of ten. Family owned and run,great food at very fair prices. Staff are all super friendly. Be certain to include a stop there as part of your trip

This was a very nice area to be in with all of the dining and shopping super close. We were able to enjoy some drinks at the Mexican restaurant and walk across the parking lot to go to bed! Beds were comfy, breakfast was good (real eggs), and the staff were helpful and friendly. My only reason for the 4 stars was I felt like it could be cleaner, carpets specifically! And also the door handle in our bathroom was broken. Overall would stay again, we stayed four nights four reference!
