Very tastefully decorated and ready for you to enjoy. Relax by the pool with a cold libation. Enjoy the beautiful landscaping and flower garden. There is a small space under the house that the homeowner uses off and on. The owners are very respectful of renters privacy and will not be in your space. If you have any issues with the house during your stay please contact Walkabout Retreat not the homeowner. As the vacation rental managers we want to make sure you have a great vacation. Quite residential neighborhood You will be provided with check in instructions prior to your arrival As the day dawns over Pine Channel and the spectacular sunrise greets you each morning it will be hard to decide where to have your first cup of coffee, the screened in porch or perhaps the L shaped dock with your boat secured and ready for a day of fishing, diving/snorkeling or exploring the Atlantic and Gulf waters. The dock has a fish table and running water to clean your catch when you return from the beautiful Keys waters. Relax by the brand new 15x25 pool and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico while sipping a cold margarita. This Gulf front stilt home with deep water access is a perfect getaway for up to six people (2 per bedroom). Exceeding this limit without the owner's permission will cause immediate eviction and forfeiture of all funds. You can bring your kayak,(or use the ones on site) hobby or windsurfer and enjoy the warm sunshine, tropical breezes and beautiful clean water right in your front yard. Boating access is unsurpassed, only minutes to American Shoal and the reef with Looe Key Marine Sanctuary or if you prefer the back country, Contents Key and world class fly fishing are all nearby. The cement L shaped dock can keep your boat secure during your stay. Kayaks, available one single and one double. Tropically decorated, this three bedroom two bath house is uniquely designed. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and one bedroom has two twins. The house has central AC. The fully furnished kitchen has an icemaker on the refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, blender, and 12 cup auto-drip coffee maker. Washer and dryer are in the bedroom closet for your convenience. Wireless internet service is included. Grocery shopping, marinas, boat rentals, and restaurants are minutes away. Key West, a twenty-seven mile drive, offers unique shops, gourmet restaurants, exciting nightlife and a touch of history. Plenty of space for our family of 4\. Gorgeous view of the water. Wonderful dock where we fished daily. Many Lounge chairs by the pool and seating under the deck for shade. We took advantage of the kayaks available for use. I read my book and had coffee on the screened in upstairs deck every morning, overlooking the water. There were plenty of kitchen amenities available as well as dish detergent, soap, etc. The linens and towels were very nice; not the typical thin towels and sheets you usually find. The home was lovely, very clean, and we had plenty of space. We particularly appreciated the screened porch and the pool. The views were beautiful. One thing to be aware of is that the washer and dryer occupy the closet in one of the bedrooms and there are no doors covering them. That guest just doesn’t have space to hang things. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans, etc. The only thing we could have used more of were pods for the dishwasher. We cooked a few meals and could only run the dishwasher three times. We did discover one baking sheet was dirty (had crumbs and oil on it). Overall, we all agreed that it was a wonderful place to stay. ##### Michael E. Loved the well stocked kitchen and screen porch. Boat dock made it nice and was easy access to the channel. My only complaint was it is not mentioned in the description of the house that you are responsible for making sure you wash and dry the towels and sweep prior to check out juat to make aure you get your deposit back. I have NEVER had to do all the cleaning that is required to get a deposit returned. Also, for a family of five that is staying a week, you would think more than 4 rolls of toilet paper would have been included. Barely any contact with rental management. Only when i reached out to them. And then when i let them know we were leaving early the day of check out, i received no response. Had a good time, but will probably not be back. Oh! And it doesn't mention in the description that the owners have a small place under the house where they stay sometimes. Having kayaks and boat access to the bay along with fishing gear made out trip fantastic! We loved having a pool too. Everything in the house was clean and convenient for us to use! The water view from the house, sky at sunrise, wrap around screened porch, very clean pool, and warm weather all were fantastic! The kitchen is also the best stocked we have ever had in a rental. Even the frying pans were in excellent condition. The owners were in the apartment below, but were almost invisible. They are also very welcoming and helpful in any way possible when we did see them. The views are great ! The house is clean , open and comfortable. The pool is much appreciated to cool off in the afternoons. The host has a few items to make floating around even better . The porch is a great outside dinning area. A ceiling fan would be a perfect addition! Dock is in great shape and we so appreciated the bumpers they had in place. We had no trouble navigating our 24’ center console boat in and out of the lagoon with the markers they have in place . Overall a perfect week to enjoy each other and make fun family memories ! Pros: We very much appreciated all the outdoor seating areas. There is a screened porch that wraps the entirety of the house on the 2nd floor. So depending on the time of day, it was great to have different seating options. There were plenty of reclining lounge chairs by the pool and dock. Also, the garden in the front of the house is adorable. There’s a lovely sitting with a waterfall and path that winds through the garden. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. However, we didn’t really make a lot of meals as there were so many great bars and grills nearby. The view from the kitchen and living room is phenomenal!! Leaving that view is going to be hard. Having a fridge that has an ice maker is a nice perk. The home was extremely clean and welcoming. Having outdoor freezers was nice for my kids and husband to put their bait in. Ki-Kai’s bar is within walking distance. The food was great. They also cooked our fish that we caught on a charter fishing trip. Cons; I’m nitpicking and none of these are dealbreakers, but, I would recommend bringing your own pillow. The beds were all comfortable though with enough bedding. I didn’t realize the owners have a home in the lower level of the house. I saw an email the week before we arrived that said the owners come and go, but they have a small apartment in the lower level. It is in the house description and completely an over site in my end for not paying attention to it. I was disappointed at seeing this before we arrived, but it ended up not being an issue at all. The owners tried their very best to stay away from wherever we were. They were very friendly the one or two times we saw them and stayed to themselves. The gentleman was great with giving my husband fishing tips and even offered the use of a fishing pole because our luggage was lost for a couple days. I would highly recommend renting this home. It was very evident things that the owners paid attention to detail. It was a terrific vacation! ##### Angie S.
