Family Fun!
Overall, its a great location, the communication was key, the stay was fantastic, the house was outdated and a few minor obstacles but we made the BEST of everything. We wanted relaxation and thats what we got. Thank You for your hospitality and comforting home!

3rd winter {5 week stay}
Once again for the first 10 days the pool heater needed to be replaced so we couldn't use the pool {it was cold}, The driveway in was full of ruts, the master bath shower door didn't close all the way, 2 of the drawers in the master vanity had the bottoms falling out so we couldn't use them, the deck facing the ocean has multiple rotten areas so we needed to watch where we walked so we didn't step thru them, the wicker furniture on the deck had mold(mushrooms} growing on them.When we ask the repair person which was next door to come over and fix some areas he said he can only fix what is absolutely necessary because the property is for sale and the owners do not want to spend any on repairs. We stayed here for 3 years and each year you can see there are more and more things that need to be repaired. The view is the best you'll see any where.

Very true, this is a lovely spot! The pool heater was damaged in the last high tide, we replaced it as quickly as we could. And we are always making repairs and doing maintenance, it's an on going everyday task.

Couple’s Getaway
We loved staying at this property and would definitely book it again! The view was beautiful and it was very convenient to what we wanted to do. The only thing I would say is for a sense of more privacy, I wish the blinds were repaired so that they covered the windows completely. Overall, we loved the property!

Very hard to find the location no house numbers had no idea we were on the correct place. Very dirty. No covers on the outlets. Shower door could not open or close. Window blind did not work and or broken. Can send picture of issues if you would like.

Weekend getaway
We frequent the keys for fishing trips so we have stayed in quite a few homes. The location is great here. It was a little hard to navigate getting the boat in the channel but we figured it out the second day out. Manager was quick to respond. Home needs updates in order to keep up with the other homes around at similar pricing. Beds were all uncomfortable but home is clean and it works good for a fishing trip if you’re looking for a clean place without a ton of amenities. They could easily put some new mattresses in, kitchen amenities, and throw pillows to give it a nicer feel

What a beautiful home and spectacular views. Just loved sitting out on the Adirondack chairs watching the sunrise and sunset to a cool breeze, nice music, and a cup of coffee or maybe a Margarita.

Great properties for large family vacation!
There was a group of 14 of us so we rented this house plus two of the duplexes located on the same property. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate us all that way. It was also nice to be able to have some seperate spaces as well. The properties are all well taken care of and the kids loved the pool! Communication with the owner was great and it was defintely a no-hassle rental with clear directions and check in process. This is the second time we have rented on of the places on this property and it's always been great!

Nice updates to the home and furniture inside the home. We were disappointed that the pool heater was not replaced during the 4 weeks we were there . Going into a cold pool was not enjoyable the few times we tried to use it. We hope when we are back next year the pool heater is working.

Perfect place on the water with a mini beach. Great for children. House is really nice and spacious with a great view. Big bummer the pool wasn’t heated! Enjoyed the stay and would stay there again!!

Very dated furnishings, black mold, rust, hardly enough cookware for location
All of the patio furniture was broken down, seaweed all over the dock, black mold around the edge of the pool. Hardly any cookware to prepare and cook a meal, considering the location you would think they would have what you need. We were very disappointed with our stay. It’s unfortunate that they don’t allow you to post pictures in the review. We would definitely not be returning to this property.

We replace our pool furniture every year, and yes it's due. As stated in your arrival instructions, the house has basic cooking items. And unfortunately the weather was bad when you were there, I'm sorry we don't have any control over seaweed, when the wind blows it does collect, but it is picked up by the lawn company weekly. Also the pool is serviced 3 times per week, but bad weather does take a toll on the pool, sand and salt water!

Fantastic location; close to Marathon and Key West. Home was built for entertainment with a pool and fishing. Good times whether you wanted to chill at the house or explore the neighboring keys. Would stay again for sure.

The view was awesome! The pool was very clean. The house was clean as well. However, we had two different grouuthat thought they had rented the main house and one of those groups had scheduled a wedding party the night we arrived at our unit. Awkward. For those renting please read the as completely so you are not mislead. The picture may not be what you are renting. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Key West Holiday
The property is typical of ocean front rental property. The climate and salt air take a toll on any property. This property seems to be fairly well maintained with what appears to be new sliding glass doors. The deck railing is loose in a couple of areas. The interior of the property was, for the most part clean. There was some debris in a couple of cabinets and the top of the refrigerator had an accumulation of dirt/dust on it. The coffer maker worked fine, the dishes and silverware were clean. The hallway bathroom had a broken sliding glass door, which was placarded as "broken do not move". The vent fan was extremely noisy and completely ineffective. The beds could use new mattress' . Would be good to have a dust pan in the unit. The central air conditioner is placarded "do not set below 75 degrees". I suspect this is to reduce the accumulation of moisture in the vents and damage to the ceiling if the sliding glass doors are left open when the AC is on. So one should close the doors. The home can get warm and the window air conditioners do a marginal job of cooling. The ceiling fans do help quite a bit. Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodations. The property manager, Susan Rich, was easy to contact, pleasant and responsive to my inquiries. The property is ideal for individuals who want to enjoy Key West and the neighboring islands with out paying the outrageous cost of staying in Key West.

Great views and able to see ocean/sunrise from the deck. From Hwy 1 the entrance is hidden and you often need to go north, and turn around onto head to Key West. Inside the house it is dated, however the location, price and views make up for that.

Not what we expected....not worth the money!
Overall wasn't worth the price we paid for sure. The pictures are definitely better than in-person. The house has so MANY issues. Not all fans work, blinds are falling down in almost every room or missing, ants were in the kitchen and master bath, the pool has mold caked on it all the way around, and I could go on. We booked this originally because the presentation on VRBO makes you think that you have a private pool and view; however, it is a house on a COMPOUND where the entire back yard to include pool and underneath the house is shared by everyone on the compound. This needs to be presented in the listing more accurately than it currently is. We would have never booked this location had we been aware that it was on a compound and that anyone and everyone can come sit under the house, around the house, use the pool, play their music, and pretty much just disturb our peace. When communicating with the owner, and explaining she came off as very rude. She stated she had never had this issue before; however, I wish I would have read the reviews prior to booking bc many people stated in the reviews they had no idea and were dissatisfied. It definitely ruined our stay and trip.

I have stayed on Cudjoe Key before several times, but this was the best house and view. It seemed almost as if there was no one else around. Quiet and relaxing. Will be back!

Pool House on the water
House was nice and clean and everything was fully functional. Beautiful view and caught lots of fish from back seawall. Pool was lots of fun. The only negative was that the other residents in the other cottages have use of the pool, the area under house and the back picnic tables, so we didint get much privacy or much of a chance to use them but overall a good experience.

Location can’t be beat
The location for this rental was really spectacular. The house could use some work. The AC had difficulty maintaining a temp of 75. The master bedroom was usually 78, sometime hotter in the heat of the day. Other issues were minor (blinds not working, shower doors jammed, coffee pot worked off and on). Also, plan to bring all the essentials, this includes toilet paper.

Best keys vacation
The house was perfect right on the water with a great view and pool. It was a perfect location to vacation with a group. 25 minutes to key west and 25 minutes to marathon so good access to anything you want to do in the keys. House worked well for the 3 couple that stayed. It was peaceful but also no limitations on having fun with music at night chilling in the pool after daytime adventures. I I highly recommend this house and complex and would rent again in the future.

The scenery was gorgeous.the house could use work The cleaning could really inprove.tha boat ramp is only for kayak there is no place to tie a boat off becouse there's no dock.And sharing the pool is hit or miss depends on the crowd you have to share with quit or noisy.With all that being said i would rent it again

The house is in great location with a very nice pool and boat dock. Everyone we talked to was very communicative and nice. However, the house needs a lot of basic maintenance performed. Rusted out appliances, broken shower doors, rusted and broken blinds and a bathroom fan that sounds like a gun going off are just a few things.
