Ocean Breeze is the largest of our 5 cottages at 1500 square feet. It's perfect for your family vacation, sleeping 7 people comfortably, with two full bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with two queen beds) and a pull-out sofa as well as two full bathrooms. It comes complete with a full kitchen, large living room with fireplace and dining room as well as a screened-in front porch for outdoor dining. The rear of the house has a game room with a full size pool table and an outdoor patio with barbeque and picnic table. The unit is air conditioned and WiFi service is available throughout the resort. Enjoy the communal outdoor pool and covered patio that has a gas grill, griddle and picnic area, which are all just steps away from the Ocean Breeze Cottage. We have a laundry room with washers and dryers that are free of charge. For those who would like to venture out to the beach, the unit has 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler and beach towels for your convenience. Guest may request to have their pet, 1 dog of 40 pounds or less, accompany them on their vacation and will be required to sign and abide a pet occupancy agreement as well as pay $75 in additional cleaning fees for the in-depth cleaning required after a dog has stayed in the unit. Guests that bring a dog that has not been pre-approved by management or do not follow resort rules will be asked to leave the resort and all payments will be forfeited. Fishing adventures, bird watching, water sports or some down time relaxing in nature and the beauty of the most desired key in Florida. We’re twenty-five miles to Key West for dinner and nightlife or walk down the block to the local tiki bar, Tonio’s. We have plenty of space for your boat and trailer. There is a boat ramp just down the block at Tonio's that can handle flat boats 21' or smaller and the boat ramps at Cudjoe Gardens Marina (477 Drost Ave.) and Little Torch Key (SR 4A & County Road) can handle larger boats for a minimal fee. We’re located twenty-five miles from Key West for dinner and nightlife. Walk 2 minutes down the block to Tonio's Seafood Shack & Tiki Bar. Bahia Honda State Park, with its beautiful beaches is a 15 minute drive from HIDDEN HAMMOCK RESORT. Our property is not on a waterfront and there are no public beaches in Summerland Key. Guests are provided with the following amenities: a small bottle of dish soap, hand soap and a sponge, a roll of paper towels and toilet paper, a few laundry pods and hotel-size toiletries in the bathroom. This is to help our guests off to a good start. The grills were perfect for dinner in after eating out all day. The location couldn't be more perfect, it’s secluded, yet located only 40 minutes to Key West for easy day trips. The host welcomed us and provided the perfect recommendations for dining out and things to do. We were able to walk to Tonios for dinner, drinks and love music. Loved the pool and the pool table. Place was nicely decorated and easy to get to Key West, Bohia Honda and Sombrero Beach. The hosts were super nice and even got us a coconut out of the tree there! The property is nice and private with pretty surroundings. I would rather stay in an older residence like this one than a newer condo any day. It felt like being a resident. Tonios restaraunt is right down the street and had good food and live entertainment. You can fish off the nearby bridges. Nice, modestly updated property, comfy bed (we had the bedroom with two queens), great billiard room and screen porch. Sipped coffee on screen porch and watched sky turn pink. While there, they helped us line up a great charter boat to sandbars, promptly fixed a minor plumbing issue, and were appropriately attentive. We only cooked breakfast in the kitchen and it was moderately equipped and fine for our purposes. Pool and amenity. Definitely recommend! ##### Martha S. The best part of this location is the Pool table which the whole family enjoyed. The Pool was also very entertaining and a great asset. The beach towels were an added plus. Plenty of space and very quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the proximity of Key West in one direction and Bahia Honda State Park in the other. I will say that the check-in was a little harrowing for a few moments because we arrived at night after a long day of travel and had apparently received the wrong code to unlock the house. I wasn't able to reach the host for a bit, but we luckily figured out the access code with some lucky guesswork. Otherwise, a good experience and we would stay here again. ##### Tara R. Love having two rooms and my girls having their own beds. There is an inaccuracy on the listing that it is two beds in one room and 1 bed in the other room. Love the beach chairs and the umbrella that we can take to the beach to use. Love the pool table and pool. The pool is pretty deep at one end w/o depth marking. It would be over 6 ft because my husband, 5'9", can't touch the pool floor on the depth end. Location is great that you can go more south or north for more to do w/n 30 mins. But there are a plenty to do w/n 15 mins of drive, for beach, kayak and snorkeling. ##### Li J. It is about 40 minutes from the heart of Key West and about 2.5 hours away from Key Largo. This was a good spot for us because most of the things we did were in Key West. Check in was a little difficult because we arrived after 10pm and the light by the door to the cottage was not working. I had to walk up to each door and look for the “Ocean Breeze” sign with my flashlight. Other than that, the cottage had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 13 and 10). It had all the ammenities to make our stay comfortable. There are small sized toiletries to get you started, not enough for a whole week. There is shared washer/dryer behind the cottages by the pool with laundry pods under the kitchen sink, which we were very grateful for. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were very spacious. We appreciated that there were plenty of dressers to unpack all our things into. Favorite ammenity: Heated pool! Things to improve: There were quite a few cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling in the room with one bed so we had to take care of some spiders. The blue bathroom had regular visits from carpenter ants. The floors in the entire unit could use a good wet mopping…Our feet were black at the end of each day. ##### Kendra H. We are considering next year. The main suite tub backed up. Was able to clear on our own. Needs a larger shower curtain to prevent water between tub and sink in master bath. The owners mentioned ants if food was left out. What they meant to say was roaches, even if food is not left out. Also, the listing states that this property is a 5 minute walk to the beach.
