"The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again."

"Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch."

"This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"We liked how generously the yurts were spaced in their woodland setting and the way the owners, Karen and Aaron, took good care to maintain the quiet. Our yurt was roomy, aesthetically beautiful inside, and very thoughtfully provided with everything needed. All was clean and in good working order -- e.g., the shower was hot and strong, the bed was really comfortable, the water tasted sweet and good, the kitchen had all the right utensils, the internet worked, and there were nice places to sit....
