It's central to most of what you need to see and do in Bagan. Plenty of places to eat a short walk to the end of the road. Recommended."

"the hotel doesnt exist!! we arrived to the property, pre-paid for two rooms only to realize this property has been shut down for over a year. the phone numbers listed on Expedia for the hotel doesnt work either. so we were left to fend for ourselves and find alternative hotel very painfully this weekend. A major scam and a big, freaking disappointment both about the hotel but importantly EXPEDIA for not doing their due diligence. and I have been trying to reach Expedia to get reimbursed, if...

This is exceptionally well priced and you would pay a great deal more if closer to town for the same comfort. "1 year old hotel but very clean and fresh. Manager was very friendly and helpful. You can rent e scooter for 8000kyat a day, which is really nice because all the pagodas are quite spreed out. Breakfast was simple but nice. Very good all around for the price."
