Chateau Big Bear Boutique Hotel, BW Signature Collection

"Came here for a Sunday night getaway to escape the sweltering heat down the hill. Check in wasnt till 4, so i went hiking, had lunch and walked the back bike/walking path behind the property (this was a hidden gem). Check in was easy, the hostess was pleasant, it was a bit tough being on the second floor taking my suitcase as there are stairs you have to navigate weather or not you use the elevator, She asked if i needed assistance but i was able to manage. The cute cup cozzee's they have to put in your dash as a parking pass were a nice touch. Breakfast included was nice they had a selection of breads,toast,pastries,juices,scrambled eggs, potatoes coffee fruit and cereals. I did use the Jacuzzi as i had hiked a bit that day and it was nice. The vending machines on the floors needed a refill. otherwise i slept like a baby in the cool mountain air and am ready to go back, i almost asked if i could extend my stay another night but i had obligations otherwise i sure would have. They have a bar/restaurant but it it only open thurs,fri,sat I wish they would extend to Sunday as there seemed to be enough people extending their weekend till monday."

"Room was clean except for tub had some mystery debris on the rim. A lightbulb was burnt out on bedside table. There was an exposed door to the adjoining room which opened to the other room-the door to the other room was closed thankfully. A mini fridge in a motel is always appreciated but the room unfortunately, didn’t have one. What mattered was ultimately that the bed sheets were clean, the ac was cold and the tv was big! Overall a decent stay for the price."

"Great place to stay, beautiful views. Was provided ear plugs, wasn’t sure why, then we found out the next morning. People upstairs walking was loud, so we figured that’s what the ear plugs were for. Other than being woken up at the crack of Dawn we actually really loved this place! Will definitely come back but will get a cabin next time to avoid the loud noises!"

"Really nice facility, large fairly new units, well maintained. Short walk to many restaurants, shops, and a marina where you can rent boats and jet skis. Short walk to Alpine Slide. The Zoo was worth a visit and only a short drive away. This was perfect for my family. I rented three 2BR units, and everyone enjoyed our time there."

"This place has been open for two weeks, renovation is still ongoing. We really enjoyed the loft room with bunk beds and a fully air conditioned space in 90 degree weather! It's walking distance to the village, park and slopes. We visit Big Bear regularly throughout the year, we will definitely be back, and fully recommend it. Dogs stay for free!"
