"What a pleasant surprise. Over a holiday weekend, our other booking had overbooked us. We scrambled, and found this suite. It’s really, an apartment.. Oh my gosh, we were so happy. It was much better than the original lodging. There were two adults, two 21 year old sons. There was plenty of room for all of us. Clean, comfortable. 25 minutes outside of Key West. The 21-year-olds are coming back and staying here for spring break with their friends. To the owners of the KOA, they better behave."

"This property owner cancelled on us THE NIGHT BEFORE our check-in. We had to cancel our entire family trip, planned for my husband’s birthday, as we couldn’t find anything to accommodate our large family at that late notice. A few days before our check-in, they messaged asking if we had flexibility. I said we didn’t due to work schedules. Didn’t hear back, until later the night before our check in, saying they had property work to do and couldn’t accommodate us. I tried asking for flexibility and got no response. Vrbo customer service had to handle my follow up from there, issuing the refund and offering a small reimbursement offer if we found somewhere else. They said they’d help rebook us but then they couldn’t find anything available. This is the worst Vrbo experience I’ve had. Be careful before booking with this irresponsible and disrespectful person. "

"The Online Property Manager almost pushed us to ask for a refund by telling us about loud dock construction between the hours of 10am -2pm every day immediately after he secured our final payment for the trip. Thankfully Tom who is the onsite manager was amazing and had the construction stopped for the duration of our stay. He gave us endless local knowledge, help, and let us borrow a cooler and some of his personal equipment. Everything was clean and wonderful on the property and it was stocked with fun amenities.The trip would be perfect if not for the sargassum which made the first 4-5 feet of the water rather foul but after that it was amazing to kayak or paddleboard on. If we revisit we will definitely go earlier when there is less of the sargassum, as well as hopefully a completed new dock that should be great for swimming and avoiding the sargassum altogether. Overral the food in the keys, the house, the views, and the wonderful host Tom made this trip a wonderful get away. "

"There are no words to describe how wonderful this property is! From the very beginning to the sad ending (because we had to leave), it was a fantastic location, and the house had everything we needed. We stayed in and cooked almost every night and the amenities never disappointed! The view cannot be overstated, and the sunset is beyond earthly! There were 7 of us and the house was large enough that we never felt cramped. There is no way to sit in all the spaces available! There were several reviews that the house was not maintained. We certainly did not have that experience. We've never stayed at a house that was so clean and had everything we needed. From the morning coffee to the evening sunset, this property will not disappoint! Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Book it NOW!"
