Nous sommes une famille de 4, nous avons eu l'appartement juste à côté de la Guesthouse, il y a une chambre, salle de bain privée et une cuisine. Pour nos enfants, il n'y avait pas de serviettes de bain, ni de draps pour les couettes et le canapé. La vue est sympathique. Parking privée, et accès à la ville à pied.

Sehr dreckige Küche, dreckiger Kühlschrank, klebriger Tisch, winzige Zimmer, schmale Betten, sehr altes Bad - abgebildete Fotos zeigen das schicke Appartment im Nachbarhaus - das Bad und die Küche im eigentlichen Gästehaus sind offensichtlich absichtlich nicht fotografiert, da sie von deutlich geringerer Qualität sind.

The little guest house was very welcoming. Our room was pleasant if a little small but since we were only in there to sleep, it was no problem. We had access to the kitchen and living area which did give us more space. It was a pleasant stay.

Det eneste positive med stedet var sengene. Ellers var det ikke skikkelig rengjort på badet med urinflekker og hår på dosetet. Dessuten var det skittent på gulvet på rommet. Det luktet også mugg. Ventilasjonen var dårlig. Anbefaler ikke stedet til andre.

Less guesthouse, more spartan-yet-comfy dorm

There seemed to be some confusion by the location’s front-door description as a B&B — there’s no 2nd B. Also, the check in time is 16:00, not 14:00, as their email specified. In all, I’d opt for another accommodation in Stykkishólmur. Or, better yet, I’d continue on the afternoon ferry to Flatey Island and stay at the (actual) B&B there. Very unique & peaceful.

The location was nice. The house and the common rooms were lovely. The room was too small to fit 2 bags. We never saw a host or employee. We were given only one hand towel each. The bathroom had no electrical outlet we could find, nor did it have any towels or way to wipe up the counter after use.
