Visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum and appreciate the building’s modern, vehicle-like architecture. See some of the 160 vehicles ranging from antique automobiles to flashy racing cars. Watch a soccer game at the adjacent Mercedes-Benz Arena, where VfB Stuttgart plays. A little south are the enormous glassy buildings containing the dealers, factories and corporate headquarters of Daimler AG and its Mercedes-Benz brand. The district has long been linked to growing wine. In summer, bring your kids west to try the slides of the Inselbad Untertürkheim outdoor pool, which stands between two tributaries of the Neckar River. Find the Untertürkheim neighbourhood on the eastern flank of the Neckar River on the eastern outskirts of Stuttgart. Take a U-Bahn train to the Untertürkheim station and get around the area on foot.
