(85 reviews) Our stay was three days, the staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The pool and spa areas were superb, and having Black Forest Gateaux with a pot of tea by the pool was not something we expected to be able to do - but very memorable. The breakfast was epic, it’s plain to see how very proud the chefs are, and this is reflected in the quality and range of breakfast items available. We had guest e bikes (at no charge) we explored the local forest area, this made the hills very easy to navigate - the bikes were of excellent quality. My wife could not enjoy the ameneties because it is against her comfort level. Pool: 1/5 - The pool was the biggest disappointment. It was barely above freezing. My family couldn't stay in it for longer than 3 minutes. The front desk said there was nothing they could do. Multiple guests complained about the pool temperature. Overall stay: We won't be returning to the hotel. We came for the Spa area and pool that were advertised. Without those, the hotel was a waste of time and money.
