Lovely little place on the waterfront along a quiet street. Small, clean rooms. This is an older building but well-kept. I came across it on a brief business trip but will make it a point to stay here when visiting the area for work or pleasure.

Cute, cozy room. Exceptionally clean, updated, very well cared for. Nice walk-in shower with soft water. The room even came with some plates and flatware in case we wanted to dine in our room. TV had multiple channels. Bed was very comfortable. Desk staff was pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed our stay.

Upon arrival, we found this hotel a hidden gem. Beautiful scenic property and such courteous staff. Easy check in, wonderful hospitality!

When I open the door I saw a piece of food particle on the carpet. In the bathroom the wallpaper is coming off the walls it needs to be fixed. The person of the front door was awesome and very professional. She also allow me to check in early because I needed to be checked in early due to I have to be at work in a couple hours I was very thankful!!

There is a front and back door in the room/efficiency. The back porch looks out onto the harbor/water. So beautiful! I loved having my dog with me. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and eat meals. Loved this place! I will be back.

Very clean. Great location. Satellite service for TV was non-existant. TV stopped working as well. Beds were not great for comfort (pillows were excellent however). Beds were extremely loud, to the point you woke up when you or your partner moved or rolled over.

Hi Cindi, I am happy you loved our location and cleanliness. I truly am sorry that we were unaware of your TV issues. The Tv looks like it is working as it should. We have Spectrum Cable TV. You are correct that Choosing Satalite on the Tv channel changer input would have been ineffective. Possibly we could leave instructions with the TV if it is off the correct input. We will look into the bed making noise immediately as this is the first complaint on the beds. We truly appreciate the comment so that we can address this and make a change or repair. Thank you for your time in letting us know, We hope you will try us on another visit.

The jet tub was HUGE and such a nice luxury item. The battery on our fire alarm needed changing and started beeping every few minutes, we called the office and they came to our cottage within a few sorry minutes to replace the battery. The gas fire place kept the cottage very toasty warm on a cold and windy night. We just loved the place. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Our room was very small and not very clean - carpet was gritty. There was no daily housekeeping. On the plus side, the check-in / check-out process was super easy. The location was excellent as it is on the canal and only a mile or so from downtown stores and restaurants. If I stayed here again, I'd get a larger room and one facing the canal versus the street.

Property is older but our room was newer. The main bed mattress was rather worn and lumpy though, and they could def use new pillows. View was great! Sitting area was nice. Depends what room you get because they’re all different and some are quite old.

Lil gem
This little gem is the perfect spot to make as your base home while visiting Door County. Friendly host, quiet, clean cottage, by a little marina with beautiful views of the sunset. Close to all roads that take you to some amazing sites. Give Snug Harbor a try! We loved it and you may too!

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights on the final leg of our Michigan - Wisconsin trip. It was by far our favorite of the 5 hotels during our trip. Incredible location: scenic, spacious, comfortable, and secure. It will feel like home. Only wish we had more time at this location.

We were traveling home and decided to go up to Sturgeon Bay. I looked at places to stay and Snug harbor came up. The reviews looked great so we booked a room. It was clean, comfortable and I loved having my coffee outside looking at the water. I highly recommend staying there!!

Our first time traveling to Door County and Snug Harbor made it extra special! Our room is just right in front of the lake! Not to far away from the everything. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely rebook to this place!

We loved Snug Harbor. The location was great for our 4 night stay. We loved the lakefront and watching the birds and boats. We were in room 9 and it had a great amount of space with a full kitchen and living room. The area was easy to get to all of Door County.
