Simply put, it was one of the most picturesque places we have ever stayed! The cabin was beautifully decorated, the host family was warm and inviting, the view from our deck was stunning, and we all had fun using the kayaks, paddleboards, and row boat. We only had a 2 night reservation and wish we could have stayed longer! Would absolutely love to return!! It doesn’t matter if you choose mountain or lake view, the views all around this place are incredible. The property is tucked away in a small village/hamlet. The family that runs it is very friendly and accommodating. We took the kayaks out and the row boat out on the lake. The beds were comfortable. Wished we had more time here. The venue is tough to top, on a secluded bay that you feel like you have to yourself. The rooms have an authentically rustic charm and are very comfortable. The hotel's public facilities are outstanding - from the great restaurant, outdoor seating area, and sauna/spa, to the upstairs aquavit bar. That's actually my one complaint - they didn't tell us about it on checkin, and we only discovered it our last night, after it closed. We would certainly have gone there.
