Wonderful place tostay in Strobl
Very comfortable apartment with authentic Austrian decor. Has all the amenities we needed. Convenient to access Salzburg and the nearby mountains. Wolfgangsee is a waaaay better option than touristy Hallstatt!

Very nice place!
Everything was awesome! Das Wirtshaus had really good food. We enjoyed our stay here. We drove into Salzburg with no problems and we drove all over the mountains. Everything at this VRBO was exactly as advertised and very well done. Thank you for a such a nice place to stay!

Great location
Spacious apartment covering the entire top floor. Great location within walking distance to the Strobl beach and to restaurants and grocery shopping. We (family of 4 with two kids under age 7) had a great time there. Thanks, Karin + Juliet!

Absolutely a wonderful stay in a truly authentic Austrian home !!! Live every detail from the wonderful paintings on the walls to the edelweiss flowers on the glasses !!! It’s a great space that gives more than 2 guests plenty of space !!! The washing machine was an extra star !!! Danke Schon !!!

Attractive apartment in a great location
A great place for two couples or a small family. Restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance. Salzburg is about a 40 minute drive. Lots of outdoor activities in the immediate area.

Beautiful Loft with Austrian Alps character
This is the second time we stayed here. It's so hard to leave and we will return. The loft and additional lower level apartment are set up for all the comforts of home. Beautiful Strobl and accommodations.

We have had the most fabulous week here!!! Missing it already!! Lovely comfortable apartment- a real home from home. Ideally located very close to amenities in a little lakeside village. The mountains and snow only a short drive away. Fritz was a brilliant help with his knowledge and advice too- we will be back!!

Amazing cottage on the lake!
The Mountain View Cottage in Strobl was incredible. Spacious with a full kitchen and washer/dryer, close to town and near to grocery stores. Juliet was a pleasure to work and communicate with. Highly recommend!!!!

We could not have found a better place
Quaint and roomy..sooo comfortable and clean...wish we could come every year. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors. Love that we could arrive anytime because she had a lock box. So professional. She had a book with summaries of everything..we took her suggestions for eating places and we're not disappointed.

Strobl is breathtaking. The apartment is perfect for two couples or a family. Close to the lake and town. Very quiet. Ferry to St. Wolfgang and train up the Schafberg was fantastic!

Lovely Strobl loft
The loft is loaded with all the amenities of home and quaint Bavarian decor in a beautiful neighborhood setting. We will definitely return here! It was a perfect stopover on our way from Munich to Bled. I highly recommend a stay at the Mountain View Loft.

Lovely Home
My family stayed two nights at the Mountain View Loft in June 2016. We were on a road trip from Venice to Munich and this was a perfect place for us to relax. The place is very spacious and clean. We were welcomed by a nice note and a bottle of wine. The nights were quiet and the air was so crisp and clean, we all slept very soundly in the very comfortable beds made up with traditional Austrian comforters. I wish we could have stayed longer. I didn't want to leave! If you are looking for a peaceful and scenic place, this is it. Juliet was very easy to contact and very helpful in the booking process. The village centre is just a short walk from the house and we found a good restaurant there. Salzburg is a short drive but there's plenty to do around the area, especially if you are up for hiking, biking and boating.

Great apartment in Salzburg Lake District
This apartment was perfect for our family with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and it had a much welcomed washing machine. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District. The grocery store, bakery and restaurants were within walking distance. The apartment is on a very quiet street and we enjoyed being able to leave the windows open on a warm night. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries and wonderful to work with. Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. USA visitors

This apartment was beautiful. Warm wood tones, a lot of space, views from every window.
Strobl is the most amazing village. So much to do and see. You can easily access all the other villages on the lake by ferry. We stayed here two nights on our way back to Vienna from Italy. We were going to visit Salzburg, but decided to explore here with a side trip to Hallstatt. I could live here and will visit again for sure. Thank you to our hosts. You can tell a lot of love went into this property!!

Hope to return someday
The apartment in Strobl was just what we needed. Big enough for our family of 5 and a great base camp for us to explore the area. Strobl is a beautiful town and the apartment was a quick walk from the lake/playground. Hope we get a chance to see it in the summer some time.

Wonderful Place!
The four of us were beyond impressed with Juliet and the apartment in Strobl. It was extremely clean, very spacious and ideally located a few blocks from the waterfront and a short walk to the downtown. While the weather wasn't ideal, it was still a lovely city and Juliet was amazing at coordinating and providing us with recommendations on what to do and where to eat. It was a great launching point for our trip to Hallstatt and proved to be the gem of our week long vacation in the region. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der FeWo, sie ist gleichermaßen geräumig, wie auch supergemütlich!! Man fühlt sich gleich sehr willkommen und findet dort alles, was das Urlauberherz begehrt!! Zudem ist man schnell am See ubd schnell am Berg - tolle Lage! ,wir kommen sehr gerne einmal wieder!!

Eine sehr geräumige und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, in der man sich wohlfühlt.
Es mangelt in der Ferienwohnung an nichts. Unser Enkel war von der Lego-Kiste fasziniert. Die Lage der FW ist top, zum Wolfgangsee sind es 3 Minuten, was wir bei dem hochsommerlichen Temperaturen zu schätzen wussten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für uns waren die zwei Urlaubswochen einfach super. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal da.

urige und total gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit Blick auf die Berge
Wir haben es so angetroffen, wie die Vermittlung es uns angeboten hat. Die Wohnung mit urigen Bauernmöbeln war gepflegt und sehr gemütlich. Sie war komplett ausgestattet, mit allem was das tägliche Leben erfordert. Die Lage ist optimal. Ein guter Bäcker, ein Supermarkt, ein Tabak- und Zeitschriftenladen war fußläufig gut erreichbar. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Gasthöfe Kleefeld, Lilly (mit Blick auf den Wolfgangsee) und der Kirchenwirt. Wir konnten an vielen Abenden an der Boots-Anlegestelle den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Schöne Spaziergänge waren in der Nähe möglich. Ein Strandbad ganz in der Nähe hat uns an einem heißen Tag die nötige Abkühlung im Wolfgangsee verschafft. Wir würden das Feriendomizil gern weiterempfehlen.

Super schöner Urlaub in einer Wohnung die kaum Wünsche offen lässt
Als wir die Wohnung zum ersten Mal betraten, waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Alles war da: Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Verbrauchsgegenstände wie Küchen- und Toilettenpapier u.v.m. :0) ... Auch die Kinder kamen nicht zu kurz. Es gab eine große Kiste Lego und Puzzle... Zu recht heißt die Wohnung "Mountain View Loft": egal aus welchem Fenster man schaut, man sieht ringsherum die Berge :0)... Das nahegelegene Skigebiet "Postalm" ist das perfekte Einsteigerskigebiet. Seit diesem Jahr ist auch der Sessellift wieder geöffnet, wo auch die Könner auf ihre Kosten kommen... Gerne wären wir länger geblieben, aber die Faschingsferien sind leider nur eine Woche. Wir hatten einen perfekten Skiurlaub in der tollen Ferienwohnung, in Stobl und natürlich auf der Postalm. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Juliet und Friedrich für ihre Gastfreundschaft :0))
