"The Railway Hotel Heyfield is a fabulous hotel! In a prime position and with a welcoming staff it’s an ideal place to stay… My siblings and partners have just enjoyed a weekend bike ride -the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail- and stayed for 2 nights in Heyfield at the hotel.
We had one of the happiest, comfortable and memorable weekends we could remember. Dinners on both Friday and Saturday nights were delicious!
The staff were friendly and most helpful during our stay. We thank them for the hospitality and look forward to a return visit when we come back to do the ride again!!

"We had a great stay at Walhalla. The cottage is in a fantastic position and suprisingly warm. It’s great that we could share it with our pooch too. The King parrots feeding from our yards was a treat. You need at least two full days to see the village properly. It’s worth noting that we didn’t have access to the second bedroom (locked). We made a booking for two but it is assumed you are a couple and not siblings/friends. Luckily we are a couple as we had to share a double bed . "

"we had a wonderful time in the accomodation spacious clean and had a warm welcoming charm.The only issue was with the wifi which kept dropping out.not a big issue but could be looked at. "

"Had a relaxing stay at Lake Glenmaggie over the New Years break. The whole famiy enjoyed the native birdlife and close proximity to the boat ramp as well as nearby picnic/swimming areas. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed and our dog enjoyed local walks and sniffing around the secure backyard. Sunsets on the deck were lovely and we enjoyed daytrips to nearby wineries and townships. Our hosts were very accommodating and attentive. Thanks a bunch!"
