You may encounter access difficulties if you are traveling with large suitcases or bulky items. 🏠 As soon as you enter, immerse yourself in the Alsatian atmosphere 🥨: living room fully open to the kitchen 🍴 with exposed beams. 🛋️ The living room and its comfortable sofa bed, 🍽️ its dining room open to the fully equipped kitchen, offers you a beautiful living space. 🛌 Access the bedroom via an interior wooden staircase. This one is attic and also with exposed beams. 🚿 From there you access a large bathroom under the roof, with bath / shower. A washing machine will be at your disposal. 🚽 Separate toilet. The whole apartment will be yours. Always in the spirit of satisfying you at best during your stay: \- cleaning will be done, \- the bed will be made with clean sheets (bed linen will be at your disposal if you wish to use the sofa bed), \- clean towels will be at your disposal as well as a bath mat and a tea towel, \- free WIFI connection ⛔ Access by car is restricted (only authorized between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the morning, and prohibited all day in December). However, take advantage of all the amenities nearby: restaurants, shops, boutiques. The practical furniture, the refined decoration and the exposed beams will immerse you in an Alsatian atmosphere with ease. Located in the heart of Strasbourg, easily walk to all amenities (🍽️ restaurants, 🛍️ shops...). A few minutes walk away, admire the Notre Dame Cathedral. You can also easily reach Petite France, a typically Alsatian district with these half-timbered houses. 🚭 This apartment is non-smoking. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, hookahs and any other smoking device is prohibited. Smoking or using a smoking device will result in an additional €250 cleaning charge penalty. 🛏️ Bed linen and towels as well as standard final cleaning at the end of the stay are included in the price. This includes change of bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and sanitary facilities. 🧹 However, it is up to you to clean and put away the dishes, take down the trash cans, empty the fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as tidy up inside the apartment. Cons VRBO affiliated FYI there’s LOTS of forms to fill out online… pre check in forms prior for EACH guest, prepayment, deposit form, final payment, police clearance for each guest, pre check out forms… All contactless, if you would like someone to meet or explain prior there’s extra $ charge Small unmarked Step between kitchen and living room and also at entrance, can be a trip hazard. Narrow slope & low beam to one side of bed (at \~4ft height) Low angled Beam in the middle of bathroom and low slope in tub confines person to a small space to stand for shower. Shower door cannot close all the way bc of slope so have to assure to properly close to your best to avoid water on floor. Toilet downstairs ONLY, if you get up in the middle of night must go down 12 stairs Metal side tables- to grab or place anything can seem very loud in middle of night. If you have a car there will be no parking Pros Has Kitchen space, equipped with some basic supplies (oil, salt, coffee pods) Central and close to restaurants, cathedral & stores Bedroom is up a staircase (12 stairs) so gives some privacy from common area.
