Canals, medieval alleys, half-timbered Alsatian houses, and traditional restaurants will be within your reach. This historic neighborhood has many local shops, bars, and restaurants. Once the magnificent period porch is crossed and the courtyard traversed, you will access a 38m² studio fully functional for 2 people composed of: An entrance with storage furniture and large mirror a large space including 1 bedroom with non-separable double bed of 180x200cm, a storage wardrobe and a large flat screen TV, all overlooking an open kitchen/dining room fully equipped (oven/microwave, glass-ceramic hob, hood, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine...) including a bar and 4 comfortable stools A bathroom with Italian shower a separate toilet The apartment being located on a pedestrian square, no direct car access is possible (several public parking lots are available in the surrounding area) The entire accommodation will be yours. Always with the spirit of satisfying you best during your stay: cleaning will be done, the bed will be made with clean sheets, clean towels will be available to you as well as a bathroom mat and a kitchen towel, free WIFI connection Do you come with young children? You can optionally book, starting from 30€, a baby umbrella bed, a high chair, or baby bed linen. 500m away is the public parking lot "indigo KLEBER". This parking lot is in the city center, so convenient for 1 or a few hours, but it costs more than 50 euros for 24h! You also have the option to park in the Halles P2 Sebastopol parking lots, Halles P3 Marais vert (900m) or at the GARE WODLI parking lot (900m) which costs around 20 euros for 24h. Your stay in a few figures: 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral, You are in the Petite France, 900m walk from the Strasbourg city center station. 450m from the Homme de Fer tram station with line B that takes you to the European Parliament, and lines A, D and C that connect the central Strasbourg station, and lines A and D that connect the Etoile-Bourse station where the Strasbourg bus station is located. The Grande Île of Strasbourg, sometimes called the "Insular Ellipse", is the most central and characteristic island of the city of Strasbourg, which constitutes its historic center. It is surrounded by the Ill River to the south and one of its branches the Faux-Rempart trench to the north, which separate downstream of the Vauban dam and reunite at the level of the Fishermen's Quay. The Grande Île is inscribed in its entirety as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1988\. For being on street level is was extremely quiet. The areas where improvements could be made is better directions on finding the apartment once you are in the courtyard and the kitchen is fairly nicely equipped, but it didn't have sharp knives for cutting. The normally used surfaces were clean, but the vents and mirrored art above the bed needed dusting. Overall, it was a great places for the 4 days we were there.
