Elaine looked after us so well, the breakfast was delicious and the whole property has been decorated beautifully. This would definitely be my number one choice when I stay in Stranraer again. Would definitely recommend worth more than 5.*

Property was easy to find in Stranraer. We arrived very late due to traffic and the staff were very accommodating of this and left us the key and instructions to sort ourselves out on arrival. Also next morning we had to leave before breakfast to get a ferry and again we were able to sort ourselves out with cereals for breakfast before departure. Would highly recommend if visiting Stranraer.

Lovely guest house with a park and water right out the front door. Welcoming and warm hosts with attention to detail and helpful. I appreciated the little details that helped it feel like a home away from home. A very generous breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay again.

Small ensuite room but beautifully decorated with modern fittings. Very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast in a lovely dining room and a very pleasant & helpful host. Free street parking just outside. Great location for Stranraer town centre and for the Cairnryan ferry port about 10 mins drive away. Excellent value.

Superb find
Overnight stay prior to sailing to Ireland. Alan, our host was very friendly. Showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. Room very comfortable. Breakfast next morning was 5 star.

We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted by the owner and given a lovely welcome, along with useful local food recommendations. Our host couldn’t do enough and our room was spotless, with a hearty breakfast each morning.

An upmarket guest house.
A warm welcome to a very comfortable stay. Beautifully decorated room with every detail included. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice - even vegetarian haggis. Good location if using the ferry to a Northern Ireland.

We booked this spot last minute and the host was very accommodating. It is owner run, owner operated and they are high five-able people. The room was on the small side but had exactly what we needed. The location was perfectly situated in town and across the street from the ocean.
