I just recently stayed here with my husband, 2 small dogs, my parents and my brother for a family vacation. I wasn't sure what to expect because I've only ever stayed in hotels. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The check in and check out process was very easy. Helen remembered I was traveling with 2 dogs and she provided a towel for each of them and dog bowls. I wasn't expecting that but I can tell you that was thoughtful and I appreciated it. The chalet is so incredibly cozy and it feels like home. There are 2 full bathrooms and 1/2 bath which is connected to the living room. This definitely came in handy with 5 people under one roof. There are plenty of board games and cards to play for a night in. There is also a backgammon and chess table. The bedrooms are very spacious and also cozy. Me my husband and my 2 dogs slept on the first floor master. The bed and sheets are SO COMFORTABLE which I am not used to with regular hotels. There are blackout shades in the bedroom which helps block out light in the morning. The actual location of the chalet is out of the way but still very close to just about everything. The first night we arrived Helen sent me a text making sure everything was to our liking and even suggested some places to eat for dinner. I highly suggest this chalet. House was clean, well-stocked and super cute. Only slight drawback was proximity to a construction site but the super convenient location (close to mountain and town) made up for it. The house was clean and perfect for the 5 of us and our dog. This property is very clean and accommodating. We had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving Feast. Perfect offsite location for ease to and from the slopes. The owner is responsive and very curtious. We brought our dog which is a big plus. ##### James M. Helen was a fantastic host (great communication) and the house was well-equipped and noticeably clean upon arrival. The beds are comfortable and towels plush. On-site laundry was a huge bonus since we had our 3 year old with. Lastly, the location is perfect for anyone coming into town to ski. It’s about halfway between town and the mountain so we really enjoyed the proximity to both areas of Stowe. ##### Lindsay C. Clean, great location. Loved the fireplace. 10 minutes from Stowe skiing. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was great. Parking was easy. Stowe is a short ride - everything is about 3 miles away. Home is clean and space efficient. Kitchen is well equiped and ready for cooking meals.
