Great location, close to town and Waterbury / Burlington as well. Check in was a breeze and getting car valet etc was easy. My only complaint is the bed. I am admittedly a light sleeper, but the bed was so bouncy / springy! Every time my boyfriend moved a tiny bit, I woke up. I ended up sleeping on the couch 3 nights, sadly. Otherwise, bathroom was spacious and clean, kitchen was nice and even the coffee was good! The Lodge itself is very nice, we enjoyed the hot tub after hiking all day. That said, many shops seemed closed and there was only one restaurant open, that was Buffett only for dinner at $65pp. We didn’t have any meals at the lodge and only used the hot tub amenity. Check in was easy and the concierge shared maps and hiking pamphlets. Overall, great stay and would recommend. ##### Laura H. I didn’t stay in the room the first night because the resort made an error and placed me in room on the 5th floor. Didn’t know the error until I tried to get in the room and my card didn’t work. They had me move down to 1117 that night, which wasn’t ideal but understandable. The only issue I have is that they should clearly state in the listing that while dog friendly, Dogs need to be with you at all times. As a single person with a dog, I wasn’t able to use the pool or spa because I couldn’t leave my pet in the room. That was disappointing. ##### Maureen M. This was our 2nd stay at The Lodge. The facilities are fantastic with beautiful grounds and convenient services, including restaurants and tennis.
