"A little run down but room was clean and bed was comfortable. OK for a one night casino trip. Staff friendly. It is next to a landfill but we didn't experience any bad smells. FYI, according to Expedia, it is a one minute drive to the casino (as the crow flies) as the hotel is located across the highway from the casino on a dead-end road and there is no direct access across the highway to the casino. You have to drive back up the dead end road about a mile and cross over an overpass to get to the other side of highway and drive back about a mile where the casino is. I would say a five minute drive. (Lots of confusing round a bouts but that is not hotels fault.) Didn't do breakfast but set up looked ok."

"The room was huge. Sheets were not dirty, but stained. Dust on the walls by the fan that blew the cold air from one room into the next. Bathroom cabinet had severe water damage on the base boards. Pillows were squares and not actual bed pillows.stains on the walls and carpets. My hubby and son said when they walked I. They were hit with a heavy scent of bakery (possibly hiding something)"

"Four. Miles, from campus, a couple, great restaurants and coffee shops, four blocks away on the lake. Perfect for graduation when I booked it at the last minute."

"DO NOT STAY HERE: 1. Hotel in disrepair and dirty 2. Hot tub and pool had “things” floating and on bottom. Disgusting 3. Gym is a joke. 1 partially working treadmill. 1 treadmill from 1970. 1 non working recumbent bike. Non functioning cable weight pull machine. No dumbbells. No kettlebells. No exercise balls or mats. 4. Rooms showed disrepair , inattentive and were dirty. The staff must be underpaid and under resourced. Time for new owners and new managers. My complaints went ignored. Do not stay here. The health inspector needs to visit this place. Gross."

"We stayed at this Hotel for UW graduation weekend. This hotel was 20+ mins away from the University. It’s also very near Madison’s Landfill tho there was no garbage smell. Hotel jacked up the prices for this weekend. We were charged over $400 a night and it wasn’t worth that at all. They claimed at check-in we had already paid (we hadn’t) and then at checkout I had to fight to get the rooms on the credit card of my choice. Breakfasts were ok. We stayed for 2 days. First day, room internet was terrible. We told the staff on two separate occasions this. They did manage to fix it the second time. Overall, an okay hotel but location wasn’t great and it wasn’t worth the money they wanted for graduation weekend."
