It was raining overnight and we woke up because the roof was not waterproof and rain was dropping down, also into our luggage. We told it to the staff and they admitted that it was not the first time this happened. We were offered another place, but we preferred to leave earlier. Also because there was no WiFi access, contrary to the description of the property. Staff first tried to convince us that it is a general problem of the area, but this is not correct. After some discussions, staff admitted that one should simply install additional receivers on the property and that they told this several times to the management. We asked for a partial refund, but this was refused by staff. After all, this place should not be anymore within Expedia.

Really enjoyed our 2 day visit it was a last minute thing, but they were able to accommodate us. Staff very friendly and helpful Food was good Breakfast was excellent.

Tsitsikamma lodge is a great place if you like peace and quiet. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers and pristine gardens. Lovely big swimming pool with sun loungers and pool service to go with that. Had some spa treatments which was very nice. Very friendly staff and the breakfast, which was included, was great.

Very conveniently located, and in a great setting. The striptease trail heading out at the back of the hotel is a fantastic hike for all

Beds were comfortable. They assisted with moving our stay up by a day. Linen clean. However, towels very old, rodent droppings in two of the three apartments we stayed in. Not very accommodating in certain respects. When I asked for fresh towels, I was told it's Christmas eve. The next day the lady blamed me for not picking up my own towels at reception. The lodge is very green zone. Great hiking area. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Most of the staff are efficient and friendly. The Tsitsikamma area is remarkable and I recommend it to the world. There are many places to visit and stay in. Look at all options.

There was too much noise made by other guests on Sat 24 Sept until 02:00 in the morning but nobody bothered about the noise, too friendly and welcoming staff in the kitchen. The security guard at the gate on Friday 23 Sept was very helpful; he assisted us carry our luggage to our rooms. We were very disappointed that the Spa was fully booked.

The breakfast was included in the price and was wonderful on both mornings of our stay. The walking / hiking trial we did on Saturday was also very picturesque. The evening supper was even more awesome and so much value for money. All in all we would definitely be going back.

Myself and my lady sincerely enjoyed the getaway for the weekend. Our breakfast included was scrumptious and the staff overall was accommodating, helpful and friendly. We absolutely embraced the beautiful pool area, enjoyed the option of the trail walk and were lucky enough to be blessed with pleasant weather. The only thing we would suggest is that the Lodge has a little quick shop on sight.Other than I would recommend it for a couple that want time alone .

It once was perfect!
We have stayed at this lodge on a number of occasions over the past 15 years but this time noticed the lack of maintenance. Exterior of cabins need revarnish. Our cabin's carpet was filthy And full of stains, smashed floor tiles on the bathroom oor with pieces of tile missing, shower door frame rusted at the base and the bathtub base has collapsed. The bed and linen were clean and comfortable and restaurant food a d service was very good. The gardens are still beautiful, the pool area is lovely.

Our stay was satisfying its just that my cabin jucuzzi was not working and it was also leaking. The bar fridge was a bit small. Parking was an issue there is not alot off space so I had 2 double park my car. I had a problem with the gates closing at 9pm that is way 2 early for me. Reason being I came 2 explore. The cleanliness was good and the staff is super friendly. Ure grounds is beyond beautiful and well kept. The breakfast was delicious!! All and all we had a great stay thank you

Will never go there again, the place was dusty and not aired out enough. There was a nasty smell in the bathroom and the bath/showers werr borehole water. Absolutely disgusting. We didnt even want to eat there and ended up goingto the steere down the road. Left early the next morning.

You are unfortunately the first person to complain about our water.

Beautiful and cozy
Beautiful place to stay along side nature. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Cabins are cozy and romantic for couples (all cabins have a spa bath) Dinner buffet was like a Christmas dinner, it was delicious. Breakfast was amazing with the huge variety to choose from. Price is quite steep, making it affordable for one night, but definitely worth it Can't wait to go in summer when we can enjoy everything they have to offer Highly recommend this Lodge.

Only buffet option for supper, would have liked a menu and room service. Advertised babysitting, but did not provide. Wifi at chalet was terrible. Staff at front desk need better training on all available facilities. Advertised outdoor play area for kids, only had two swings. Hike was enjoyable. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable.

Room was cute at first glance but very dusty n carpets filthy and sticky booked 2 nights. But was refused to be given refund for the 2nd as we were very uncomfortable and wanted to check out after first night. There was load shedding at night and they did not even have candles or torches to give us very difficult with 2small who needed the toilet in the dark and also who cannot sleep in pitch blackness

As I have it, you have booked through Expedia and that means that you have to go through them if you are wanting a refund and the lady you spoke to is my receptionist and she has not got the authority to give any person a refund. I also see that you fail to mention here that you asked for a refund because there was problem regarding your flight. If we are at fault then we will do the right thing.

Large log cabin close to forest. Found it to be larger and busier than expected. Pool not in best condition and very cold. Found restaurant largre and busier than expected with large groups and self service basis. Restaurant staff not very friendly.
