"This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Sedona area, but want to get out of all of the traffic and congestion that is common to Sedona, at a fair price. You will have an easy in and out with plenty of parking. It's like a 2 level motel. *(If you're on the upper level you will need to go up outside stairs to bring your luggage. If you would have difficulty doing that you should request a lower level room and you can park very close to your door.) The room we stayed in had LVP flooring, not carpet. The beds were comfortable. I believe they allow pets? (Confirm that.) The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a light breakfast in the lobby (not until 7:00) which was good. And also have a little refrigerator and coffeemaker in the room. Also a nice heated outdoor pool, and sitting area. After you leave there it's easy to get back into Sedona, or back on the interstate. There are gas stations nearby as well. We were happy with our stay."

"We stayed at the Amara resort for three nights. Our original room looked into a brick wall which was unacceptable. Thanks to Teah we were able to upgrade to a river view room for a modest charge. Teah deserves 5 stars."

"The location is great! Within walking distance of shops and restaurants is the main draw for me. Staff was was very friendly and helpful. Not too pushy with the timeshare angle either. My one bedroom villa was pretty clean for the most part. Just a few areas missed with the cleaning, such as the top of the fridge, there were a few wasp nests that need to be removed, and one of the screens on the windows was partially off. One negative, is that my unit was on the first floor and every step, chair slide, door/drawer close, thump, was heard loudly below. Night and early morning...if you are a light sleeper, I would bring earplugs. Also my unit was near the shop roadway so there was some car, trash collection noise as well. Overall, a nice stay, hence my 4 star rating."
