About this property

Real Treehouse Adventure | Rustic meets Luxury

  • Summary:

The Grand Oak is a real Maine treehouse escape on a 56-acre treehouse & glamping property bordering the White Mountain National Forest. With a sunken soaking tub, luxury bedding, free disc golf, nearby lakes, dark skies, and room for seven - it’s built for families, couples, and friends craving a getaway where adventure awaits outside your door & the people you love remember how awesome it feels to be fully together.

    The Space:

The Grand Oak pairs the wonder of a real rustic treehouse with the luxury comforts guests want after a day outside. It sleeps up to seven adults across two private bedrooms, an upstairs loft, and an additional guest setup, with two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a spacious living area, and a wide wraparound deck.

This is childhood treehouse wonder made comfortable for adults: rugged character, warm wood, beautiful bedding, generous pillows, thoughtful lighting, an antique record player, and an inviting place to land after White Mountain adventures.

After a rugged Maine day, sleep should feel like part of the reward. Each sleeping area is prepared with high-comfort mattresses, soft European-style bedding, layered blankets, plush throws, and generous pillows.

    • Primary suite: Queen bed, en-suite bathroom, and sunken soaking tub

    • Second private bedroom: Queen bed

    • Upstairs loft: Two twin beds

    • Additional guest setup: Accommodates guest seven; confirm the exact bed type and location before publishing

The primary suite includes a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a sunken soaking tub. A second private bedroom has another queen bed, while the upstairs loft has two twin beds. The layout gives families, couples traveling together, friend groups, and multi-generational guests room to gather without spending the whole trip on top of one another.

Grand Oak guests receive access to the experiences spread across In The Trees, our 56-acre treehouse and disc golf property. Adventure begins here, before you ever get back in the car.

    • Free play on the 18-hole mountain disc golf course—well loved in the disc golf community and welcoming to beginners

    • Forest and hiking trails across the property

    • Adventure "Summit Trail" to the 5-story Summit Tower bordering the White Mountain National Forest

    • Rope-assisted final stretch and 360-degree summit views

    • Three lakes visible from the tower

    • Summit bell to ring when you reach the top

    • Private wraparound deck at Grand Oak

    • Shared community firepit

    • Dark skies and nighttime stargazing

    • Seasonal snowshoeing opportunities

    The Neighborhood:

In The Trees is set in Stoneham, Maine, in the White Mountain National Forest & Maine Lakes region. The property gives you built-in adventure, while nearby lakes, mountains, and trails make it easy to shape each day around the season.

Summer brings green trails, mountain disc golf, swimming, fishing, paddling, and lake days at Virginia Lake, Keewaydin Lake, and Kezar Lake. Come back for deck time, a shared fire, and dark skies after the sun goes down.

Fall turns the region into a shared color show—epic foliage, crisp hikes, scenic drives, summit views, and the pleasure of returning to a warm treehouse, a hot bath, and a memorable meal together.

Winter is made for skiing at Sunday River, Pleasant Mountain, or Mt. Abram, along with snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and snowy forest adventure. The best part may be the return: hot baths, warm food, music, and luxury bedding waiting inside the trees.
