"We did a weekend stay, all adults. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable. Only disappointment was the grill didn't work and the food stuck to the pans when we cooked. Home is located down the street from a small grocery store which was super convenient, and if we had wanted fast food it was close by as well. Nice home, good hosts."

Property managers were great and had valuable information about the area and surrounding areas. This rental made our weekend get away what it was. Awesome! "This was our second stay in 7 months. It was even better this time if possible. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill. We played scrabble on the deck under the stars. "It is a beautiful property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and communicated promptly with me. We enjoyed the firepit with free wood and the beautiful lake. Note that there is only ONE bathroom and the 3rd bedroom is in the basement and is not a room. The wifi was out the entire time we were there but we were told it was not the homeowners fault. Also note that there is a significant security deposit, more than I've experienced before, that I didn't know about...

"We planned our stay so we were halfway between Nelsonville and Athens so we could ride our bikes out and back. It was a perfect location. Unfortunately it is located on busy Hwy 33 so the traffic noise was significant. The place was clean and well appointed. The hosts were fantastic"

Only objections are a couple things that were not clear from the description: The home is near a fairly major road, so road noise at night was a minor issue. Also, the fire pit is on the side of a hill, so somewhat difficult to use."

"This cabin is so neat and unique! Three cozy stories beautifully decorated (the pictures don't do it justice). When we arrived the home was warm and cozy, lights already on. I wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the fire pit more and the view of the woods out back. Lynn has thought of all your needs ...stocked with toiletries, first aid, hair dryer, etc. I would not advise it for anyone with issues climbing stairs....the home layout means lots of stair climbing needed. Wifi...
