Good location at good price
Boutique hotel, nice, small well located geographically, easy to reach central avenues. Very well connected with public transport. Every place is accessible by walking a few minutes only. the rooms are small, tastefully decorated and warm rugs. Very friendly staff, acceptable breakfast. All very clean and pleasant for a tourist or business person for a few days only

Good for 3-star hotel but not a 4-star hotel
Pros: Services were good and friendly. Clean and comfort bed. Cons: Limited choices on warm breakfast, I personally not a big fan of cold foods such as cheeses and hams. We had a no-window room and there was an air-con inside the room but we failed to find the remote-control. Breakfast on Saturday starts at 8am which I think it's bit late personally. Conclusion: I think it's a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star hotel

A weekend away with come character
Lovely eccentric hotel just a short walk from the town centre. Lovely people who run it and could not do more too help us! I highly recommend.

Mixed personal and business trip
Great location, convenient to the metro, and to Stockholm University and Alba Nova as well. Very nice classic hotel with an exceptional breakfast spread. Was able to check in a few hours early which is very nice, and would definitely stay here next time I am in Stockholm. Check out the history of the hotel on Wikipedia too.

Warm place with great staff!
A very nice hotel, old fashioned needs some investment, wouldn't rate it as a 4star hotel more a 5star B&B. Hope the new owners get this hotel around to old glory. Warmly recommend if you have not high expectations. Staff is very friendly and that's perhaps what keeps me returning this place.

Sorry that you do not feel that the classification is correct, but it goes according to quite harsh European rules. Comfortable quirky hotel
The room was really comfortable and stylishly kitted out. My room (4) had a window - I hear some don't - I would have been very unhappy if i'd been placed in a windowless room... The breakfast in the morning was fine. The staff helpful. Unusual that they leave the place unstaffed from 6pm or earlier, but the system to check in after hours works well.

Stella. Thank you for the great nice rating. We have 4 different categories in room. With different prices. The room you had was a standard superior room. There all have windows. One of our rooms lacks window completely and 2 rooms have a small window. Of course these rooms are a bit cheaper. But you can see that when you are booking with us. Hope to see you again.

Nice little gem
When we arrived our room hadn't been cleaned. The awesome Staff upgrades us to a better room free of charge. Nice location, ok breakfast. I would stay here again.

My daughter was going to KTH for a study abroad program, so I tagged along for a short vacation with her before her school started. Our hotel room is so clean and bed is very comfortable! The staff were incredibly helpful letting us checked in earlier and they provided all the convenience we needed. I will stay here again if I come to Stockholm again!

I found this hotel to be perfect for my needs. It had a comfortable room, well equipped with a great bath, wonderful, accommodating staff, a very pleasant lounge area to work in or read in, when I didn't want to be in my room, and a great restaurant attached to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. A particular call out to the front desk staff for providing fresh coffee and early access to the room to a very bedraggled and jet-lagged person. Really, just a wonderful experience.

Awesome Hotel
This hotel was built in 1731 and has a lot of history. The room was great and the staff was super friendly. Great breakfast in the morning. I would stay there again.

Nice Hotel
I stayed here for a meeting at the Swedish Defense College and it was great. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was pretty large. It was appointed well and the bed was comfortable. There are lots of restaurants in the area and it was a short walk to the school. Not the fanciest place, but staff was wonderful and welcoming! I would stay here again.

A wonderful city break in Stockholm.
Very nice small hotel. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfasts were excellent. We ate in the restaurant one evening and that was very good too.Room was not large but 6 foot bed was very comfortable and it was nice and clean. Many restaurants locally but they get full so you do need to book. Bar Hombre was close by and food excellent. Public transport is close by with good access to the main city attractions. We all had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to others.

Old-fashioned charm in Stockholm
A small cozy countryside hotel that feels a bit off the place in downtown Stockholm, but as such offers you a nice alternative to clinical chain hotels. Friendly staff and good connections. My room was in the basement, which meant very little natural light and the proximity of a kindergarden and a bit weak soundproofing implied some noise in the mornings. All around a very good stay though.

Very enjoyable stay.
We stayed in this hotel for three nights and were really pleased with it. The staff were uniformly helpful and friendly, providing useful information about the city. The hotel has a small number of rooms, so did not feel congested or crowded. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and the area was well served by restaurants (including that in the hotel itself). The bedroom was comfortable. The area (north of the city centre) was very pleasant and a relatively short walk to the city centre and Gamla stan. I would enthusiastically recommended this hotel.
