Situated over two floors, the accommodation comprises of a welcoming hallway open plan lounge/dining room with seating and dining facilities for 4 people. Upstairs comprises of 2 large bedrooms one of which is en-suite and a further toilet/shower room. The equipment includes everything you need for a pleasant stay, also the kitchen is very well equipped. The second bathroom is also very practical. She is very friendly and helpful. We had never considered Stirling before and chose Iona because of it's central location. We stayed there at the New Year and had friends and family over to visit. They enjoyed exploring Stirling and the castle. The house is warm and cosy, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable which is important for me as I sometimes have trouble sleeping. No problems here at all. Had a lovely Hogmanay at the Settle Inn across the road chatting to the friendly locals and watched the fireworks at the Wallace Monument at midnight. All in all a great holiday home and at a very good price.
