"We got stuck in the area after the ferries were cancelled and lucked into a one night stay here, and now we can’t wait to come back. They were so sweet and helpful receiving unexpected guests. They went out of their way to accommodate us and help us relax. And wow it’s so beautiful. I went birding first thing and there was so many birds. I could see eagles and seals from our room. It is truly stunning, but I still think the staff were my favourite part!"

"The grass was a foot long which made it very difficult to collect the dog remains. No propane bottle for the fire pit, No candles , musty smelling bedding, no cream for coffee in the morning and no netflix. way overpriced for what was delivered."

"The room was clean, equipped with air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was more than happy to answer any questions about the area. There is a restaurant onsite (we didn't eat there but it was available). Beach was in walkable distance and an onsite gym. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would book again if we were ever in the area."

"The Rodmay Hotel has potential: it is definetely a heritage building and has some beautiful furniture but there is a lot of work to be done. It was clean and quiet but: 1. it took a long time for the hot water to arrive. 2. we couldn't shut the bathroom door. 3. the bathroom sink was very tiny with no counter space 4. the air was a bit stuffy."
