"Wife and I were in town to visit grandkids. We looked at several hotels and didn’t find anything to meet our needs. My wife discovered this hideaway next to a lake and it was far beyond our expectations. Great view, grandkids could run and play during the day and we could relax and enjoy quiet evenings together. We had all that we needed and more. Fast WiFi, hot water, paddle boat, super friendly host, even a snack stash which the grandkids really enjoyed. I give this place 5 out of five stars...

"The host went above and beyond to help me after I made a mistake on my reservation, and responded to us when we rolled in after 8pm and had a hard time finding the place in the dark. We love staying in affordable, cozy cabins, and this place so far is our favorite! I loved the decor, and the perfectly stored amenities, and my husband loved the view of the water. "We celebrated our 48th anniversary- a very unique experience in the treetops. The patio was very relaxing, where we could hear birds and watch waving tree tops. In our mid 70s, we had to be extremely careful climbing both the ladder steps to the door as well as the ladder to the loft. In spite of the challenge we slept well and had a great night."

"The house was clean and comfortable. Spent most our time outside on the front deck and around the lake. The only thing that could have made it a little better would be a weed eated path to the lake and pond. The hostess was really easy to get ahold of and pleasant to work with. Easy check out. Would stay again. Seems to be a good spot for kids too!"

"My husband and I met 5 friends/ family at this rental. It is a bit tricky to get to hauling a boat. But once you arrive, the updates, space and rooms are beautiful and amazing. The home was clean, the property owner & manager is very attentive and extremely helpful. The boat slip on property was great. The back deck to lounge on after a day on the lake was so peaceful and realxing. We will be back and would suggest this home to others. Karie & family"
