Very well insulated property & comfortable beds. However, the dining table chairs were extremely uncomfortable & only good for around a 20 minute sit down. Not good if you are in to board games or a card playing session (even after we sat on cushions!). The hosts were very sociable & the location was ideal for our trips out to the the local racecourses. Shops were a bit of a drive away, so we tended to do our shopping whilst visiting other places. Enjoyed a week in this very peaceful location. There are several houses in the immediate vicinity which did not cause any worries for us at all. The home baked cake on our arrival was a nice touch. The cottage is well equipped for your every day needs. If you enjoy a brisk walk their are plenty to choose from starting at the cottage.
