Room was generally tidy although upon entering there was a bad as if someone had been to the toilet.
When we arrived I asked a male member of staff at reception did he know or could he recommend anywhere to exchange sterling into Euros. This member of staff informed he didnt know anywhere that would be open to facilitate this request.
When I went back to my room I read the guest handbook to see that the hotel itself did exchange euros. On our way to the restaurant we asked the same member of staff could he change £100 sterling like it says in the guest handbook. He was reluctant and unhelpful and offered a dreadful exchange rate. If this is something that hotel does not cater for it should be removed from the guest handbook. If it is something that the hotel does cater for training the staff on compliance with this would be essential.
On a brighter the food in the restaurant was outstanding great value top quality.

Chris was a great host. The house was centrally located and the town was very walkable. Chris gave us plenty of suggestions on where to eat, grab a drink, beaches to hit and towns to visit.
If we aren’t 3,500 miles away, we’d stay there again.

Good spot, nice bed. Just don't go on Saturday night because the bar is a club in the late hours and the bass can be heard in the room. I'd stay any other night of the week.
p.s. not sure if they do the club fridays too
