Such a lovely place, what a location. We first went in late 2020 and had a wonderful suite, this time we were in a standard room. We had a loch view which was lovely as we were celebrating two birthdays!
The staff are so friendly, thank you all.
There is a newer more modern part and the older historic building - we’ve been in the older bit both times.
As the building is older, you can’t expect it to be clinical like a new build! There might be some dust in nooks and crannies but we have and will return.
We ate in the restaurant, cullen skink / chicken tikka starters and Scottish stew / shish tawook main. We both enjoyed and would have again.

It was wonderful: from the music, veggie curry and G&T to the great mattresses and sheets. The staff was so generous. I couldn’t make a reservation for dinner because I was just one but he fit me in! Way to win hearts.

Very disappointing stay. Check in is very late (4pm) . Room was not Classic Double as booked. We got a dark prisonlike cell with no view of outside world . Heating didn't work ( but was fixed - thx ) WIFI didn't work . It was separate to main building.
Breakfast also disappointing

The cutest hotel ever! Everything was fantastic! The staff was great and extremely helpful and friendly! The food was the best food I had my whole trip in Scotland! I loved it so much I ended up staying an extra night here!

The perfect base camp on Skye. Exactly what we wanted for our stay. Walking distance to the Fairy Glen, RHA falls, and the port as well as a quick drive into Portree if you want to go into actual town. Not to mention the stunning view from our room.
