Enjoy peaceful sounds & views of nature while being close to all the area has to offer. The completely remodeled property is located less than 5 miles from the Daniel Boone National Forrest & Big Southfork National River & Recreation area for those who enjoy hiking, canoeing, & kayaking or just being outdoors. Historic Stearns with the Scenic Railway & Golfing is less than 3 miles away. Additional Perks of this property. Residence is at the end of a paved road with plenty of privacy and wildlife viewing. There are 2 fields behind this property for a total of 7.77 acres that you are welcome to explore. There is a fresh water well in the front yard does have nice spring water with a well bucket and rope so you can experience what it used to be like to draw water from a well prior to indoor plumbing. Since the well cap doesn’t fit tightly there could be some slugs/bugs in the well water, so drinking is not recommended. The road “Childers Ridge” that you drove in on is a nice place to take a walk but do be observant for the occasional traffic. There are some grilling utensils on the porch in the wooden cabinet.
